Relatively dry right now but starting to get snakey. The Cathedral was beautiful.

The trail leaves the river . Don't worry you did not miss the trail just follow the blazes and it makes it a little further. it's very scenic and very remove.

The trail follows the river to a point. Then the trail goes away from the river and seems to leave the route on the map. However, it was easy to turn around and head back to the trail head.
I’ll explore this trail again.

Very nice and runnable trail. The trail was well mark and 6 miles is what my gps recorded. It has a few wet spots but I ran in my trail running shoes with no problems.

Breathtaking trail, be prepared for mud!

Nice trail, very pretty river which is stained dark with tannic acid from the trees. So don’t be afraid to get it, it’s clean, cool, and refreshing.

The trail seems to have recently been remapped so there a lot of different paths that don't show up on the map. Also when driving there you're on dirt/sand roads for about 6 miles. Don't worry you're going the right way.

Very nice 6 mike walk/hike.

Very easy hike for all levels. Only thing is the map at the beginning of the trail did not notify us there would be other trails. We accidentally went on another trail called Hammock Spur that did eventually loop back to the main trail. If you just want to stick with this trail, you will need to follow the signs that say Sally Ward.

The trail isn't hard, but because it's not well maintained, it's hard to follow. Don't go during the rainy season, the palms are in a swamp head and the trail runs under water for a good part. Trail is not marked and hard to find. When l found "a" trail, I was not impressed. Better trails can be found in Tallahassee.

Five stars for the views, three stars for the bugs :/

Absolutely beautiful trail. It's been very dry lately so the trail wasn't difficult to traverse at all. Make sure you go down the blue blazed trail to the spring because that is a stunning sight to see!

Nice hike not hard. Watch for the first turn by the heliport. We missed it. added a extra mile to the hike.

Great trail! But it was a tough 6 miles!

Easy to follow the orange marked trees. Few roots. Some muddy spots, but mostly high and dry. Good, flat trail. Half dirt road, half in the woods.

It was alright. Expected more springs. Also was disappointed the trail wasn't a loop

Ran the old logging roads around the park. Great sand base. Wide enough to avoid brush (and ticks). Beautiful wooded areas. I put in 5 miles, and left more for another day.

Great birdwatching here. Usually plenty of alligators too. Historic lighthouse at the end of the road. Pretty place!

A really nice place... you will love it! You can enjoy nature and see many alligators, turtles, fishes, and manatees when cannoeing... the river is cristal clear in some areas so clear that you will jump and swim! A beautiful place.
