This is a very nice trail. I did both the Hickory Creek Trail and the Palmetto Pines Trail. 3 stars represents a good ranking. 5 stars are reserved for Grand Canyon trails.

Unfortunately there was odor from the algae at the moment. Otherwise a beautiful spot.

I have been going to this trail for 10 years and it still ranks as my favorite! The trails are truly primitive and you have to pay attention to both your feet and your head! Some amazing lookout points and rarely another person on the trail makes it a trail runners paradise - I start running from the parking lot and get an even 5 miles of loop on my Garmin.

This trail intersects with other loop trails so you can do a longer hike. Quite beautiful. Some of the forks in the trail are unlabeled making it confusing but they all loop together.

Nice little set of trails. More scenic than I expected. Lots of wildlife - had a couple snakes dart out in front of me while walking.

The park is really good for horseback riding with all the available access to different locations. Wouldn’t recommend going during the starting if dry season if you have a green horse ,with all the sand blowing from them clearing a few trails.Over all though i would definitely recommend the park for horseback riding during spring when you can smell all the beautiful blooming flowers , see all the deers and get a nice refreshing breeze through the entire park.

Nice early morning hike. We started out along the river and cleared the many cobwebs for future hikers. We only met four other hikers. It was a peaceful hike through natural Florida.

Nice easy lake trail. Saw seven gators enjoying a nice sunny morning.

I did my first solo trail run (4.5 miles) today. Once I got over my nervousness about being alone, I really enjoyed myself. Some parts were super fun to run up and down while leaping over roots, I was actually giggling. I came across two big black racer snakes, some pretty gray birds, and one huge yellow rat snake that gave me a heart attack. I was in a clearing and almost ran over her. Once I saw the snake I literally jumped 2 feet up and screamed. I was definitely on alert after that. Although I know the snake isn’t venomous, it was very surprising. I only saw a few people while I was out, so it made for a nice peaceful run. I loved running the trail and will go back there again for sure!

man made crushed shell trail so it is a easy walk. All open walk so no shade. dog run area and dog watering areas so good for them. saw birds and gators

nice simple man made path around a lake good birding little alligators

Great trail, quiet and we saw 5 Gators in the lake.

This was a great place to do some primative camping. Has alot of amenities including showers, grills, and a screened facility with a kitchen (refrigerator, ice maker & microwave available). The hiking trails were great to me it was great way to get back to nature. They also have horse trails and bike trails. I highly recommend this place if you like nature.

Whether you are biking, walking, or being walked by your four legged friend, Sunset Park trail is a relaxing way to end your day. Take a breather while Fido plays with his new neighbors at the dog park near the trail head. Once you've got your energy back up, it's time for the short walk to waterfront Table and Tap to reward yourself with a cold Babcock Brew!

This is the first segment of 50 miles of urban and nature trails for Babcock Ranch. Keep your eyes open for the signature Curry Lake Canal Trail and Community Park.

We hiked all 5 miles of trails. Trails were in great shape. It was very dry out there, but I can see where it could be very wet in the rainy season. I really loved it.

Great place clean and clear trails.

Plenty of shade. Love this place.

Nice trail, more for older kids. You will need a hat, there is not much shade from the sun. There is a gazebo not too far down the entrance trail.

Ran all 10+ miles of trail on the north side. Technical in certain areas (Far East), but the trails are maintained well making for a great time. One thing to remember; the trails in this part of CRP are shared with mountain bikers, so it's wise to be constantly aware of their presence in front and behind you.

Beautiful trails...enjoyed hiking them with my daughter and husband. On our travels besides the beauty around us we did see a turtle swimming in the creek and 2 black racer snakes!
