Great hike. Beautiful Canyon. I'd say the hike is easy to moderate. only reason for 4 stars is because it was so packed. Not hard to keep your feet dry water is very shallow.

Closed at the moment due to the severe flood of 04/15. it will take months till it will be reopened.

Great trail. Great view. Well worth the walk. Pack sunscreen. We really enjoyed that walk/hike. Walk til the end to the beach.

Very easy. The markings in the stone are outside the canyon so you simply can drive up and look. Ended up doing a bit of exploring and had fun.

Great short hike with view of the city

Love the drive having completed it several times since moving here. The Tantalus Mts were an added treat, plan for curvy roads. If you're only driving this time, come back to the Moks and kayak to the islands from Lanikai beach.

Loved this trail! It was beautiful, and my kids 4, and 8 loved it. My 4 year old got a little tired on the way back up hill from the lower fall but we all still had a great time.

Great views!!! Upper half of the hike was beautiful but stopped in an uneventful way. Had to hike off trail a bit to get to see the highest view of the lake!

Easy hike by a beautiful creek. It was very serene to be surrounded by the sounds of the birds, the wind and the water.

Connect with Snyder to get great views back down to the campground!!

Beautiful trail. Not to difficult even if you’re out of shape. A few good hill climbs, but overall gorgeous and very fun

Beautiful view at the top, took an hour up & down.

Hiked trail this past Sunday. The fire and subsequent mudslide have devastated the trail. It will need our help to restore it.

Trails could use better signs. At the trail head you start on asphalt and we continued on asphalt until hitting a dead end. We missed the entry onto a dirt trail and had to double back. Parking was full even at 10am on a Tuesday. Scenery was stunning. We only hiked about 2.5 miles in. It is a strenuous hike. Lots of steep switchbacks and jagged rock on the trail. Bring trekking poles! Lots of poison oak so take care to stay in the trail. No ticks or mosquitoes (yet). There is a good amount of unshaded trail so be prepared for sunburn and higher temperatures than you see around the falls.

I think it belongs somewhere between easy and moderate. Decent elevation gain so does require some exertion. Muddy right now but not too bad. Pleasant to be covered by trees 90% if the trail so not too hot. Amazing view.

Very easy, great at low tide. Tide pools had really interesting marine life. Great for all skill levels.

Hard going! First half straightforward, second half difficult route finding, mostly breaking trail and frequent thigh-high snow. Snowshoes would help a lot! At least there are now two sets of tracks to follow...

There is much nicer walks in Zion. Also, you'll have a decent view from weeping rock if you do the beginning of east rim

Beautiful even in the rain! Easy hike and very peaceful!

Tougher than I thought it would be! Steep hills but great view

Nice trail. Just a little short. Going downhill sucked Beautiful falls though and well worth the short walk!

Hiked only 3 miles near the Cossatot falls and my tracker logged it as climbing 36 flights of stairs. Narrow trail very close to drop offs in many areas by the falls so those with young children should beware. Bridges over streams make for an easy impromptu hike. Lovely overlooks. Clean, well maintained trail

Probably one of my favourite hikes I’ve ever done anywhere. The scenery was breathtaking, it has equal parts sun and shade. I saw a lizard, lots of cacti and the river that you run along side was perfect to keep my dog hydrated. I would def go back and do this again. So glad I did it while I was in Moab

Bike friendly. If hiking, be sure to go in the opposite direction because trail is narrow & bikers have city manners. Decent trail for inner city hiking. Easy to moderate

trail running

To be fair, I wasn’t able to actually run the trail, so the score is for the views alone. And minus points for not being able to actually run it. The guard posted near the parking said there was filming going on ahead, and that SWAT was doing drills as well. But the views were amazing...There’s a lot of new construction going on just north of the 118. I didn’t see anywhere to pull off on the side of the road and park either, like the reviews state.
And parking is $5.
Would like to return and explore the area. Just have to remember my 5 bucks.

This is a short but enjoyable trail. The views of the Rio Grande Gorge are spectacular as at times the canyon drops off right next to the trail all the way down to the river.I would suggest a afternoon hike as the light is spectacular.

This is not a hiking trail. It really is all a beach. Also, there is a sign for no dogs. wtf?
