While the trail was a little shorter than I would have liked, I enjoyed the elevation (according to my iPhone, the path elevation is about that of 11 stories) and it still took about 2 hours to hike the whole thing (that was with a lot of pauses for water and rest for my old dog). I loved that I couldn’t hear any traffic (something that I look for in a good trail) and that water crossed the path several times. It was really clean, too! The small valleys covered in little yellow flowers with a perfect spread of trees and a great combination of shade and sunlight was the topping on the cake!

It's an average run of the mill trail.

Nothing to see and no particular memorable sights along the way.

If you're looking for a casual walk this is a decent enough place.

Little to short but beautiful views.

A very nicely maintained state high point. Nothing too special about the area, but also gives an excuse to visit Wilmington, Delaware. High point is easily accessible and you can literally park right across the street.

The path and is clean and maintained well. On the path you will pass a pond and a mansion.

This trail is short and hilly but it is a good workout. I would rate this a easy walk and it is very easy to access.

Very nice gardens also a unique history of the property. The property was owned by the DuPonts but now you can take tours of the mansion and walk through the Beautiful gardens. This walk is good for all ages because there is a enchanted garden for kids to play in. This walk is very easy.

Nice trail for a afternoon hike but nothing amazing. The trail is about 5 Miles long and is good for all ages but bring plenty of water.

One of the best hikes in the Brandywine river valley I have gone manny times and it is still beautiful I advise it for all ages and during the spring, summer and especially during the Fall.

Fun brisk trail to walk along in the Spring-Summer. A lot of old Delaware to discover here and nice natural sights. The path can get a little popular though, especially during fairer weather.

This was a good hike, but not really clearly marked. I ended up using the heat map a lot to make sure I wasn't going completely off the reservation. Still, it was a nice, decently long hike.

This was a nice little hike for being so close to the city. The parking lot at the trailhead is a bit sketchy, but since it's only 10 minutes from my office I would definitely do it again.

great fun trail!

We liked it we got off course as usual but it was easy to get back on. Very nice to walk along the river. Not a lot of people and some mud. Some parts are very rocky but it's a nice relaxing walk.
