Very nice trial through the woods. Trial is very well maintained and trailblazes marked well. I really enjoyed the wooded scenery and saw a decent amount of wildlife through the trail. Horses are allowed to use the trails so watch out for the droppings. Great hike with the dog!

I would not recommend taking your dog here. We spent the afternoon removing many, many ticks from our dog.

Beautiful trail, easy to navigate with a few small hills. Crosses a small creek, lots of frog activity and spotted a bunny up close.

Was very rustic and beautiful, but a long trail and had no benches to sit. We saw many frogs, 2 snakes, and even a turtle! Unfortunately the ticks were unreal. We picked over 20 off our dog and probably 15 between myself, my boyfriend, and my step son. They were literally crawling all over us! Not a maintained trail.

Really amazing day for a hike! Mostly flat, some rocks, some mud, but nothing too bad! Saw a snake, some frogs and plety of beautiful spring foliage.

Easy to do with kids and lots of birds to see. Watch towers over look bay.

Great for a scenic walk, very easy. Gravel path, very open and not much shade expect on the paths to the observation tower, which views are pretty awe inspiring.

Red and a bit of blue trail up to Blackbird Gorest Road. 1.7 miles total

I really enjoyed this trail. The views are spectacular along the boardwalk portion of the trail. The boardwalk itself is very nice and well maintained. There’s a really nice seating area along the water, great for taking a break and taking in the amazing scenery and wildlife!

Amazing!

Nice wildlife area. Very pretty scenery and winds through the marshes and wetlands. Great bird watching opportunities. The entire trail is a gravel road. Not the greatest hiking and the trial doesn’t go through the woods. There’s some satellite trails off of it and observation towers which are cool and changes things up. Cars are allowed to drive on the trail so watch out. Overall a nice walk but not the greatest if you’re looking to hike.

Nice for Bird watching and walking your pets.

It's Sept. 2nd and the trail is a bit overgrown onto the gravel path (plenty of poison ivy) and into the 1/3 boardwalk section of this short looped trail One picnic table on path & 4 sturdy, relaxing benches on a well-made boardwalk with gr8 views of marshland. Loop is well marked throughout & overview map at trailhead. Long gravel car ride to get here. Don't wiz by in a sports car & get others dusty like an idiot. Annual DE state pass required or day fee of a few dollars.
