Easy trail that is paved. Good for dogs. Hill is great for incline! And also leads into two separate wooded trails

It was okay. Was a little confused with the route so I made my own and this app definitely helped. Next time I plan to actually hike the mapped out route.

This is, as others stated, a very difficult trail to follow. The markings are ridiculously absent and the map offered at the trailhead is completely useless. However, there are a couple decently moderate hills that are available to climb, but they are definitely off-trail. Wear boots- not shoes- in the fall as the leaves cleverly hide many rocks/roots and there are TONS of hidden muddy spots. Was a pretty walk through the woods, but would have been much, much better if we didn’t have to stop every so often to check the AllTrails map.

My Golden and I went on a short and easy hike today. This is a nicely kept trail next to Judge Morris Estate. The mountain bikers we came across seemed to be enjoying the trails as well. Lots of laughs.

I love this park and trail. It's easy to forget you're right in town. Like others have mentioned it can get a bit crowded for my taste when the weather is nice. Part of this is due to the park being a hotspot for Pokemon Go, which I play myself. Didn't realize there were always groups or cars parked in certain areas for this reason until I started playing. There is a paved path that goes around the edge of the park and then some gravel trails if you venture into the trees. We stay out of the trails in the woods all Summer because the bugs are too much for us and there are a lot of washed out spots that retain water the whole Summer.

More than moderate, got off trail a few times but was able to find my way with GPS.

As others mentioned, paths are not very well marked. However I kinda like this. Just grab one of the paper maps at the trail head, and follow the disc golf holes, you won’t get lost. Very light traffic and tons of path options make it an enjoyable spot.

Excellent excellent trail, it’s very flowy for biking fast. Marked at every intersection for great navigating. The skills section is just reopened.. it’s like an amusement park for bikers... Love it!!

Took my dogs today and it was a nice peaceful mini hike! The trails aren’t marked great but they’re pretty cleared off and there is a dog park and play ground as well!

nice ride big hills

Better trail than David English with great scenery and variety only marginally marred by extensive bike rutting and not enough foot traffic in several of the grassy crossings.

Not bad has a little of everything very easy to follow

This trail is pretty good but not great. Firstly this is actually part of White Clay park and thus hase several different trails. As of writing this the trail was listed as lightly trafficked which is incorrect. This trail is a pretty popular mountain biking area. This is not a trail if you are looking for peace and solitude. There is an airport nearby and you can hear traffic and people on adjacent paths talking.

Many bikers are polite but I have heard bikers complaining about walkers on the path and some bikers seem to feel entitled and want you to move for them. Since this is primarily a bike path the trails can be very thin.

They need to mark the trails better! Hiking overlaps bikes and runoff ways.

Huge Wasp nest near slot to pay entry fee. Got a $100 (!) ticket for not paying. Would avoid until they get rid of wasp nest. Money hungry state trying to suck every last penny out of us. And you know that ticket money is not going to making the Park better and getting rid of wasps.

Beautiful trail and fun for bike rides. Went hiking recently with my family and dog and found more than one tick on each of us.

Very nice! Did the twin creek trail it was long

Paved loop around a reservoir. First 1/4 mile is up to reach the loop. Paved trail. No tree cover, so can be brutal on hot days. Nice, pleasant walk we have taken with our kids. Good family walk as is stroller friendly.

This is known as the Twin Valley Trail locally and by the Park. Very nice trail with modest elevation changes, a couple of creek crossings, and some nice views. Great family hike. My wife and I have done it with a two and a half year old and one year old strapped to our backs. Our now four year old had walked most of it on her own two feet. Most of it is under tree cover so a good hot weather hike.
Plus, you get the Arc monument, so an interesting bit of history/geography thrown in.

Lots of terrain options.

Really nicely marked trails. Fun run

We love pet-friendly Glasgow Park, six miles south of Newark, in the town of Glasgow. There are the red-lined trials, but there also the back trails on the north side of the Park that are are more wooded. Our favorite is the loop on the northeast side of the Park with lots of native loblolly pine, some of which are very tall.

The fallen logs had been neatly placed off the trail and two people were working on parts of the trail today. They were friendly. This was a nice trail with a lot of variety. My Golden loves it too!

Trail has potential but just not there markings are bad no sense of direction once in and on top of that way to easy to get lost I’m a evening day rider and just got home and it’s 1030

It's a 1.8 loop around the reservoir, but that did not include the long incline you need to walk to get there.
If you walk the pavement up the hill and don't take the grassy shortcuts turning left will get you a 2.0 mile walk, If you take the path straight or to the right it's a 2.2 mile walk.
There are lots of benches on the way up and on the top, and don't forget the suntan lotion on the sunny days.
This is my favorite walking trail, because the water reminds me of my boating days as a kid, and the view of Newark especially when the train goes through the town of Newark it reminds me of a train model store but in real life, because you are so high above the city.
Go you won't be disappointed!

So close but yet so far from reality. Nice place to get lost

Perfect for first timers!

Very easy, paved path. I’ve run here regularly for years, mostly because it’s close to my house. They’ve expanded some of the parking lots and improved the rainwater drainage, which had added some inclines to the path. But the people... there are a fair number of dog walkers, bikers, and runners here who are all very respectful. There also tends to be large numbers of people walking in groups who are completely oblivious to runners and frankly don’t care. Most of them will not move and you’re forced to go around. On-coming walkers see you and assume that you’re not going to go through them. It’s a bit frustrating for seasoned runners. However, this is a great park for beginners and highly trafficked, even after dusk. I feel comfortable running here after dark.
