Great hike

Pretty area. A bit of a shorter hike but nice little falls

If that hike is moderate I don't know what is considered difficult. This is a nice hike with difficult areas and rewarding sights towards the peak. Recommend.

Nice views. The white trail up was quick so we took the blue trail down. It was a little tricky coming down the rock scramble - glad we had our spikes as it had snowed the day before and it was icy.

Great trail, well marked. My wife and I are from the Jersey Shore and the thinner air did take a small toll on us. Beautiful sights and great hike after driving 3 hours to get there. Should have stretched a little more.

Great winter hike. There is a very short spur (white) by the road at the beginning of the orange trail. Worth taking a peek.

I’ve hiked here with dogs twice now and found it to have well-marked, nice trails. The dogs loved it and I can see how it’d be a nice spot to go to in the warmer months.

I like the hiking trails but they are poorly marked and it’s easy to get lost. Some of the trails are also not distinct (covered in brush); I’ve gotten lost here before more than once esp. in the wintertime.

I ride my bike here all the time! Great rail path for biking, running, snowshoeing, and strollin’. Great scenery all around you, and cool off-shoots into the Valley Falls Park trails. It can be high traffic around the parking lot areas, but there’s nice quiet stretches in between.

One of my favorite hiking spots if you just wanna get outdoors. Lots of friendly dogs out there. There are a few spots that might be moderate, but overall pretty easy. Bring a simple bug net for your face in the warmer months, just in case. I’ve been swarmed real bad by gnats & mosquitoes on early a.m. hikes.

Excellent Views! It exceeded my expectations! I recommend this hike! The very beginning is very steep, so be careful.

Was there in February with snow on the ground. There are a number of trail intersections, green and orange markings. I shortened the loop by taking one of these. I wish All Trails had these trails marked on their topo map. I could find no park maps anywhere. I relied on the GPS. Wonderful hike nevertheless. Only hiked 3 miles.

Didn’t do the whole loop, just doing sections of Tunxis.

Nice easy trail for my 2-year-old and 4-year-old.

Pretty, interesting history of the land usage, river is great to see & hear.
