This was a solid hike that had a little bit of everything. The first 1/4 of the hike was challenging and really got you going. From that point, it was a beautiful and gradual ascent to the summit with a spectacular view. Don’t take this one lightly as it is time consuming and somewhat strenuous at points. Definitely worth a solid half day of your time!

good hike! moderate to difficult I would say.

I guess I need to download the map. I couldn’t find the one big loop but I did walk on a lot of short trails - in & out- over bridges, rocks, around trees. There was a gravel path but it said authorized vehicles only.

Lots of different trails. Very pretty.

Clean, wide, mostly flat walking trail through the woods. Nice, peaceful.

Hiked with my nearly 3 year old on my back. Very fun, relaxing and gorgeous views.

I wouldn't recommend this route for beginners or little kids. Lots of steep uphills and partial rock climbing at some points. Beautiful views, but don't lose track of time esp in the Fall, you don't want to be caught out there when the sun goes down. Not many people on the trail, so you will sometimes feel very alone with nature. if that is what you want great! don't expect a quick 1 hour hike, this is a commitment, at least 2 hours. Also, you will feel it the next day if you are not in hiking shape yourself. Have fun out there and be safe!
