A very nice hike for an afternoon. The trail is a little longer than what AllTrails shows. Plenty to see and is very peaceful. The yellow trail ends at a bench but continues on for a little longer until you hit ATV trails. There are a few side trails if you like to explore. Lots of flowers and butterflies to see. Would recommend.

Interesting yet weird, a blacktopped trail on top of a flood control levy 100 feet in the air, between a lake and an airport.

An easy paved trail that leads to a dam and back. Next to a private airfield. Nice scenery.

Beautiful flower gardens, shaded trails next to the water and in the forest. Accessible paved walk down to the pond.

Easy trail. Goes much further than just 1.1 miles

Very nice, flat place not very big and not to busy during the week.

maybe it's nicer to visit in the summer, but it was just okay today. Lots of people out with their dogs

Best view that I have seen so far for any hiking place, relaxing indeed. Sunrise/Sunset time is super nice. Cooler days is better Hot days got a lot of bugs (due fresh water) Good with baby strollers. (Newly paved) If Windy, it get colder, be aware.

This place was very close to me, and a very nice walk. Much of the trail is on a road, there's a blue trail that goes to the left about half way down the road that leads to the lake. Very nice view, but short distance. The blue trail continues then there is a red, which dead ends at the water, and a yellow that goes quite a distance then dead ends. There is a second red trail that goes to a nice hut that looks out over the water. I thought there were an awful lot of trail colors for such a small area. When the yellow trail ended, an unmarked trail continued, i followed it for a bit; but honestly, my leg started to hurt quite a bit. There were lots of birds, so i'm assuming in the spring and summer it is quite active with wildlife. I will return, as i can imagine that it will be quite beautiful in all regards! The trail was very easy.

Beautiful! Great views of the lake. Well maintained with lots of interpretative signs. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the lake. My dog and I loved it and will be going back regularly!

Walked with my dog and had a lovely time. Easy, pleasent walk.

Lovely walk with my dog. Easy and only a couple of other people around. Very nice. Will go again
