Great spot! Check the additional “hardscrabble trail” loop off the purple and white trails.

Hiked the tower trail on Sunday- it was VERY icy, but that made it more challenging and fun.

Quiet, nicely kept trail. Well marked with a sweet little interpretive trail guide you can follow to learn more about the geography and botany of the area.

Love this trail in all 4 seasons and offers something for everyone who loves to be out on the trail.

Loved this hike!! Gorgeous winter morning trip. After going over Ten Mile Hill the trip along the Ten Mile and Housatonic Rivers is beautiful...not too grueling of a hike but enough to get your heart rate up.

Great hikes for kids. Lake, lean tos, streams, a damn, and small rock formations to keep them busy. We hiked white to red-white around the lake.

We did this on December 28, 2016 in lots of snow and with a high of 7 degrees! It was an awesome loop, definitely felt sub zero on the summit with the winds.

Beautiful and excellent run. It is not 5.3mi but 6.338mi for the full round circuit. Follow the blue Marks throughout the way and you will be in for a treat with stunning vistas and superb running terrain.

Great family hike. 4, 5 and 7 year old. 3.4 miles with dog. Right after snow melt and rain, falls were flowing! Will go again.

This is my favorite hike!!!

Nice hike with family. Very busy, which is a pro and a con. Great for dogs as there were a bunch of dogs on this trail. Nice views from the tower.

Nice family hike with family and dog. Waterfall was the best park. Busy, popular spot. Nice for picnics too.

Hiked to Southwick street on Metacomet manadnock trail. Trail changes from blue blaze to white blaze and can get confusing...this happens beyond the road right about as you hit the Mass. border. There is a trail head with a parking area covered in snow. Beautiful bridge through marsh between mountains...this is Boggs bridge. Parked on mountain road where the Metacomet hooks at Spencer's wildlife preserve...snowy pull off area. There is a power line clearing and a couple really nice views from the cliff side where you can see distant cliff faces and snowy ponds etc. No deep snow on trail, it's mostly packed down by ATV/snow machines on the Mass side...but slippery enough to make you burn way more calories than intended.

Great snowy hike today. We parked in the commuter lot, crossed the street and walked up a side street to find the trail head. It was easy to find and everything was very clearly marked. We will definitely go again.

Solid hike, be ready to deal with some rocks if you are going in the winter. Trail relatively well kept and well blazed.

The trail wasn't well marked, but it was beautiful in the snow.

Nice trail, not a lot of traffic. Beautiful trail for colors in the fall. Family friendly, took a bunch of kids ages 8-12 and it wasn’t too strenuous for them.

It was amazing. I only walked about 2 miles in but I intend on going back next weekend for the whole round trip. I’m looking forward to this hike. It is flat or downhill in most places so far, so deeming it Easy was definitely appropriate. Looking forward to doing it this weekend!!!
