Beautiful, peaceful hike. The falls are beautiful, went right after a couple days of rain

Attractive, well maintained trail of packed soil and crushed stone. Winding with mild to moderate grades in some areas.  Lightly trafficked on this early spring afternoon.  Occasionally intersects neighborhood streets or passes by homes. Overall, very nice for easy going trail run.

Nice little trail with rolling hills for trail running. Some street crossings but no traffic.

Its a very well maintained park, the trails are perfectly marked. The overlook has a great viewing point. Its a nice place even for picnic near the river.

Beautiful hike. Steep inclines in some areas, but took it slow and wasn’t too difficult. The Indian Well waterfall, scenic overlook and brook/stream crossing were highlights. I parked inside the state park and entered the trail just across Indian Well Rd. Gorgeous, sunny day in upper 60’s.

I loved this trail! To the waterfall was definitely easy, but if you take the blue trail to the right up to Birchbank Mtn Overlook it's about 4 miles round trip and definitely moderate with climbing scrabbling. Really fun!

if you hike near the waterfall be prepared to do some technical trails. some very steep climbs for the area can be found here.

Very short and easy hike with a cute little waterfall at the end that you could probably cool off in during the summer (was too cold when I was there) in the spring.

Nice view. Not really a hike at all. Just a quick walk to the nice view

A good trail for walking. A decent amount of inclines but not too many.

Good running trail, lots of slope and curves. Convenient if you work or live in Shelton.

Beautiful trail in my home town. Trail details kind of incorrect. Paved trail with gravel one way is about 4 miles. Rough pavement is ~14 miles. Half the gravel trail has houses around, which is kind of safe for family with kids. I will not suggest road and hybrid bike here.

Beautiful, quiet, superbly maintained. Varied ecosystems and wildlife. You can use the handicapped access trails (wide gravel) or the rougher unimproved trails. The footing is great on the gravel trails, but the rougher trails are less traveled. My dog and I walk there a few times a week and always see something new and wonderful.

This trail is awesome, very challenging for trail running, but I enjoy that challenge, its a very scenic run in some areas of the trail, especially when you get close to the back side of the reservoir near the dog park in Shelton.
