Rockfall, Connecticut Map

Not bad for after work. Some sweet single tracks that are unmarked off the main trails.

Easy and mostly flat trails, some elevation change. Good shade coverage and the falls are a lovely sight.

Really enjoyable hike with kids.

nice trail, walked our 2 dogs there....good shading, not too hot.

Nice experience

Great hike. Mostly flat but some small ups & downs. Good relaxing stroll with great falls. My son & I hiked the orange (main) trail out to Big Falls and it was gorgeous! When you get to the end of the trail, walk up the road about 300 feet and the trail continues on the right. Falls are right beyong the parking lot & field. They can be accessed even if you don't hike.

Had an absolutely beautiful hike here.

Amazing, non tiring, serene waterfalls. A must visit.

how beautiful! will be back ❤

Would rate this “easy” over “moderate” as although there are some steep parts, it’s a quicker hike overall. My advice for if you want to see both the little falls and big falls: start off by following the orange trail, and when it splits off follow the direction towards Little Falls. This way you will get to enjoy a more moderate section of trail, and see the little falls first. Then continue across the stream and up the hill, at the top you can once again follow the orange trail to the left or right, go to the right and continue following orange until you get to the Big Falls. Beautiful place overall.

Great trail, I did get lost trying to find the water fall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would rate this more a moderate than easy. It is an incline all the way up, that if you have bad knees, you start to feel it. Its also a State park, so come summer, a fee Im sure is charged. Paths are a little confusing if you have not been here before. Real nice walk through the woods though.

Beautiful place !

Great family hike. 4, 5 and 7 year old. 3.4 miles with dog. Right after snow melt and rain, falls were flowing! Will go again.

Great trail. Not too strenuous.

Had a great, easy hike here yesterday. If you park in the large lot that the app takes you to the main trail entrance is to the left where you see the bathroom facilities.
As you follow the main trail, I suggest following the sign to the little falls. You'll see the little falls first then the big falls after.
You can also put wadsworth falls into google maps and it takes you to the lot for the big falls on cherry hill road. Getting to the big falls from that lot is very accessible and easy.
Also recommend taking a photo of the trail maps at the main entrance in case you want to check out any of the offshoot trails while in there. Really easy paths, beautiful woods. Tons of chipmunks and squirrels, which made for two tired dogs when I was done. Also a great spot for a hot day, very shady and breezy in the woods.

It is an easy area. It also has a variety of trails. Some quite groomed and flat and some through the woods with little ups and downs. Convenient and pretty.

GREAT for people hiking with dogs and/or kids.

Great trail to do with the dog. There was lots of wildlife to watch too!
There are two parking areas though. One is free and has you start at the big falls. The other is $9 (for CT residents) and has you starting near the swimming area.

falls were great! crowded on a weekday afternoon. flat trails, good for kids, dogs, or running.

It's good -- if you want to get to the waterfall, you'll have to walk on the road a bit and cross a bridge before you can get down to it.

I love hiking these trails as my house is a short walk away from the trailhead...

Nice falls, easy hike/walk. Can get extremely crowded at times.

Good hike today. The trails are marked well and have nice views.

I like the variety of trails offered. we took our three year old on the orange trail and he was a trooper. loved it. getting down to the mini falls was a bit tricky downhill for him but very fun. we are new to trails/hiking and were a bit confused with the map... especially when we ended up on a main road way before reaching the falls. but we kept going and found it quickly. definitely will go again.

Easy trails. Choice between direct, high traffic trails with smaller, windier less travelled trails connecting throughout. I love all the running water in this area it really makes for a nice soothing hike. Lots of friendly dogs and even horses at times.

Easy hike, and the falls are pretty cool but nothing to write home about. I took the side paths and ended up getting roughly four and a half miles. Falls area seems to be popular with fresh water fishers as the streams are stocked.
