A delightful walk in the woods. Families with young children, many with dogs (on leashes), all enjoying themselves. Thanks to those who made the effort to clear the trail following the tornado.

Leisure walk through the woods

Mountain biking trails have such a great variety here. Roll ins, downhill sections, rock gardens, wooden bridges, rock wall jumps and windy XC trails. Respect the trails please. Yield to the hikers and walkers. New signs are posted to make sure mountain bikers are respecting trails. Do your part to keep it as you left it. No riding when wet please!

Clean decent walk through the woods. Not much elevation. Good isolation. Mostly for dog walking.

Dog-friendly and flat trail. Parts of it were overgrown like previously stated. My Fitbit said it was 3.5 miles so not sure which is the right distance :) Lots of space for parking.

Cute, very easy two mile loop trail through the woods with a surprising "scenic overlook" spot on the toward the southwest end of the loop.

Nice little trail, a little overgrown in some areas if you stick to Race Brook. The primary trail is very well maintained though.

Definitely more “easy” than “moderate.” About two slight inclines, but flat all the way. Potentially not bad for runners with good ankles. Pretty, though.

This trail system has rebounded nicely since the storms of Summer 2018. The main trail loop is clear and it has many mountain bike intersections with tight turns and fun rock walls. There are a few jumps over the walls and a recent build has a hip and two drop-ins for FMB fans. The trail that starts from the left side of the nature trail has 1 jump and many fun windy MTB features up on the ridge before dropping in and crossing a new wooden bridge. Features are maintained and updated frequently. Mileage is short on trail apps but easily can be linked with cut through and circuits to make 5-6 miles of fun trail challenges! Check out by Route 15 for some older MTB features that are being rebuilt. Come on out and help these trails rebound more! Enjoy!!! Super dog friendly area and MTB riders are polite and respectful of hikers.

Trail was a exactly what I was looking for, pretty easy to walk around with a few hills to get you out of breath. Trail was in good condition with lots of blazes to keep you on track. One could get by with sneakers on this dirt/rock trail but I always prefer/recommend hiking shoes. I enjoyed this loop so I decided to go around again and ventured onto some of the smaller connecting trails.

Great easy wander through well marked trails. Small but enough variety to keep you moving through different terrain. Very nice pine forest hike. Hiked in March on a weekend, not crowded at all. Place almost to myself, friendly dogs and other hikers.

Moderately trafficked trail so it stays pretty maintained. Very dog friendly, but if your dog gets aggressive with others keep it on a leash. Even though all dogs are supposed to be leashed. Dog droppings lurk everywhere so watch your step (my reasoning for 4 stars). Good for bikes, but only from April-November. Word of caution. On the red trail on the far side of the power lines there’s a stand of white pine. In there is a dead standing pine tree about 80ft tall. It’s leaning over the trail and has been for at least a year. I’ve called the Orange town hall multiple times but they have done nothing.

did a quick lunch time hike today great trail well marked

We made full loop around. It was pretty easy trail. Sewn a lot of mushrooms of all different colors and shapes. Good and peaceful walk at the late afternoon to burn out kids and a energy.

Very easy and well maintained and marked

Great loop for a trail run! Go twice for a 5 miler!

Very nice loop

Nice loop, about 3 miles, can be completed in under an hour. Minimal incline. Great for all ages and fitness levels. Seems to be very well maintained. It is a good trail to fit into a busy schedule if you live nearby. This in the kind of trail I like when I want to get away from everything and not have to think about anything. I can leave my phone at home. I go out, come back, and I already know about what time it will be without having to look at the time constantly. If you’re in the area, check it out but, it’s nothing to drive a long way for as there are probably similar places closer to you.
