The trail was not well marked, but thankfully there was enough foot traffic that it was easy to follow your way to the falls (which are beautiful, but smaller than expected).

We found this trail to be beautiful on multiple levels. The rock features are amazing, and the view from the top of the tower is worth the relatively small bit of uphill climb. There was some standing water at the base of the trail (no wonder with all the rain we've received lately) - but it was minimal and the rest of the trail was easy to traverse.

Very hard, hilly walk...very loose ground. Sad really, like it's not being maintained anymore??
Excellent views though, the tower is starting to show it's age, but still standing.
After a careful, ling walk up...kinda worth it. Just take your time.

Really pretty waterfall! Hike was short and easy. Seemed to be a lot of teenagers “hanging out” in the parking lot. Lock your car.

My wife and I did it with our 2,6, and 8 year olds, all of which were able to do trail even in drizzly conditions. Beautiful forest walk and falls. There was a bad stench upon arriving and we eventually noticed a dead beaver carcass which I found odd. Overall we enjoyed it!

We always enjoy this hike! the walk up is quite the trek, but the stone steps throughout the path makes it a bit easier. The view on top of the tower makes it well worth the visit.

Excellent trail for something slightly more than easy. Great view from the tower. Great for people of all sizes and ages. Our go to spot for a quick hike on a nice day. I've been here many times through the past 25 years.

Besides for the giant rain made pond, and not having GPS, which was totally fine, we decided to go for it! We were soaked, feet wet and muddy, but the falls are worth it! They were thunderous and spectacular!

We tried to start this hike from the southern parking lot in Connecticut, but there had been a lot of rain and the trail was flooded just past the parking lot. Not wanting to have wet shoes for the rest of the day. We drove around to the norther parking lot off Campbell Falls Rd. We started our hike form the parking lot just above the Falls. The hike was very short but steep. The frozen ground and Ice made it challenging especially for my 77 year old father. The view from the bottom of the Falls was very impressive, we also followed a side trail up the dirt road and bridge directly above the falls.

One of my favorite spots!

Really nice lookout tower. The hike is short but could be strenuous depending on the person. I plan on returning for a nice sunset. Really great spot for drone footage too.

Really quiet, secluded Forrest. Waterfall is nice, pretty easy hike but everything is really mossy so watch your footing

Beautiful 360 degree view of surrounding mountains from the tower. Short, semi steep hike

For a more substantial hike, park at the bottom and walk up the road. Then go onto a trail thats about 1/2 mile and fairly steep, which takes you to the tower. Round trip that actually made it a 2.7 mile walk total. The view at the top of the tower is incredible. The elevation is actually 1,719 ft including the height of the tower.

Short enjoyable hike unless you walk in from the Connecticut side. CT trail gives you a longer walk. Beautiful for pictures!

I gave it a 3 for the waterfall. Besides that, it was probably the most boring trail I'd ever hiked...I was expecting it to be a bit longer, or more to it, but its seriously there only for the waterfall, which is VERY beautiful! So if that's what you're interested then its a good short walk, not a hike, to the falls. Enjoy!
