had a good time even in the down pouring rain. relatively easy hike, there are remnants of some sort of old building and one decent overlook. trail markings are kind of confusing but we found our way around relatively easy

Beautiful quiet trail. Just one small overlook, but some cool ruins.

Beautiful day. Nice trail. Mostly follows old dirt road, so easy footing. Lots of interesting points to see along the way.

Well marked and good trail conditions. Excellent place for dogs as terrain isn’t too steep.Nice hike close to home but new to me! Will be a nice snow shoe / ski trail for winter .Mosquitoes not bad but pesky black flies.

Quick easy walk

Nice place for an easy quick walk. Very clean and quiet which made for a peaceful stroll. Great place to walk if have a stroller or wheelchair.

Great trail, fairly easy slight incline . Nice views. However it runs right next to private hunting grounds. Beware of the map , one of the picture stops along the way is actually on the hunting grounds . I would absolutely do it again.

Kid, stroller and dog friendly! Evenly paved surface that has some amazing views.

I had a really nice hike: enjoyed the view of New Hartford, met a lot of nice people along the way, appreciated the Eagle Scout project bridge and what a hike without a beautiful cascading stream. All in all, a fun time.

Nice hike wore my micro-spikes. Trail is very well marked and not the least bit confusing. Start off on white and then followed red all the way around back to white and the car.

Nice short trail, petty Connecticut woodland, only slightly strenuous. White blaze trail takes you off the carriage road and through stands of native Mountain Laurel. View of New Hartford from the top is great, although artificially created. The mountain side was clear cut (I assume for the view). but on the plus side, Mountain Laurel has either taken hold or been planted to fill the area. Minimal traffic and friendly hikers, with a nice spot for lunch at the top. A little confusing on the south side of the loop, as there are several blazed trails that cross.
