A great road for biking with little kids and nice views. The lake at the end has a magnificent view to take some rest and enjoy the playground. Bikes are not allowed in the loop around the lake

Great Forest views

Fun easy hike. Great for kids. Lots of interesting signs and fun stuff along the way for them. 2018 is a very wet and hot summer in CT, so the bugs were terrible for most of the hike

Used to run in these trails in the late 90s early 2000s. Came back for the first time in years and it didn't disappoint. the kids loved it. we will definitely be back.

Great walk! Actually got 4 miles in by looping around the lake.

Nice walk to a little waterfall.

Very easy, flat trail. Enjoyable for an easy and pretty walk.

Completed a loop, nice little trail run/walk - signs clearly mark where you are, and I took a paper map from the bin, which proved useful. It was a cloudy, cool day, perfect for exploring. My only reservation - the recent tornadoes (5/15/18) took down some trees. The path was clear, but I'd say use caution and judgement on windy days.

We did this as our 1st hike of 2018.
Took the Red trail, as the map says it's to the Overlook, but we only came upon railroad tracks.
Luckily we met a woman who advised us to take the Red to Blue/Purple. THAT led us to the top overlooking the Housatonic River.

From the lower parking lot, follow the 'road' to the left. Half a mile up, you can pick the Red trail on the Left. Go up the mountain. At the Red & Blue/Purple intersection, bare Right onto Blue. The overlook is a short stroll. As of today, if you took the trail in the woods, the log bridge to cross the water was blocked off, you could not continue.

Will go back in the Fall to get a better view of the foliage.

I thought this was going to be more of a hike to the lookout and it just felt like a easy walk. It was a cloudy day so the view wasn't amazing, but I'm sure if it was sunny and you can see the foliage better it would have been a lot nicer.

Great easy walk, safe parking, clean amenities

I've biked walked and run dozens of mikes on this compact dirt old rail system. If you tack on the Indian ledge rail trail it's a solid 17 miles round trip.

Very nice trail but really more of a Greenway, mostly level and well taken care of.

Flat, well maintained rails-to-trails main trail. Good for easy, peaceful stroll, run or bike that ends at beautiful Great Hollow Lake Park. Loop trail (no dogs or bikes allowed on this section) around lake is also great. Halfway through the lake loop trail is an option to take a half mile trail that connects the Great Hollow Lake section of the park to the town's large Wolf Park; no dogs or bikes allowed on this section and no dogs allowed in parks.

Lots of fun for the whole family! Mostly flat with scenic paths partially paved and dirt. End to end 22mi

Beginner biking and casual ride. Trail reconnects with another Park a half mile into Trumbull and offers a end to end round trip of 22mi.
