Reasonable trail. Very well traveled with some elevation. Rock toward the top makes for slippery footing in rain. Good one for family.

beautiful trail! the view at the top is the best. my great Dane loves it as well

definitely will return to this hidden gem, especially in the fall. the steep inclines lead to spectacular views and the trail riding along the ridge was an unexpected treat.

One section of trail isn't marked very well, but other than that is was a great hike. Awesome view.

Beautiful view of the lake !! Went out with my 8 and 4 yr old . They loved it . However there were some points that it was difficult to follow the trail, I think it needs better signals of the trail. At some point I thought I was lost, kept going around in circles 

Lake was beautiful! View was worth the hike!

Nice place. Easy access from 91 but, far enough that there are no traffic sounds from the highway. Quiet enough to hear nature.

This is a great trail for bringing kids as it’s paved and flat. Kids can walk or ride their bike while you walk.

This is my go to hiking spot!

Great hike with a great view!

Great short hike, slightly difficult in a few spots but overall moderate. Multiple points for beautiful views. Will return!

Chauncey Peak-Giuffrida Park is a hidden gem. Just the right length with good hight and features to make you return again. Also an entry point for Lamentation Mountain.

Did a modified 4 mile loop of this park. One of my favorites in the region. Definitely worth checking out. Very rocky and trails go along large cliffs with beautiful vistas.

The hike to Chauncey Peak is short but very steep, the views on top are great.

Best hike in CT that i've been on so far. just be careful with the doggos when you get to the top.

Hiked the trail Sunday, 3/4/18 , with three others and enjoyed it very much. We followed the blue marked trail to Mount Lamentation and returned on the red trail.

Very cold, layer up during this cold spell.

Great hike and nice views.

Not moderate, seven switchbacks to reach ridgeline

A great trail that offers outstanding views and both moderate and easy hiking terrain.
