Love this trail. A great variety of obstacles, lots of rocks to maneuver. Definitely a moderate hike, as there are a few areas where you should be mindful of the steps you’re taking, but the view was incredible, and there was a lot of area to explore on top of the mountain

As far as easy trails go I just love this one!!!! Super kid friendly - and dog feet friendly... watch for exposed roots but love the pine needle encrusted trail!!! Water fowl and turtles on small pond - I hear there is a few grand size bass ....trail gets muddy after rain and a brimmed hat might help with gnats - great trail run trail for prepping for 5k etc - nature path- and letterboxes too

Lovely hike, easy to get to! Two nice view points, will be beautiful with fall foliage! You can see some houses and other civilization from the viewpoints. We did see a black bear on the second half of the hike, he just sauntered along and didn't bother us, but beware! The first half of the trail is better kept than the second, and more heavily trafficked.

Great hike with wife and son. Easily accommodate dogs but can get tight in spots if you might need to pass by other dogs. Really beautiful views overlooking Hartford, radio towers, and a little sliver of I-84 West/East. Not too difficult of a hole but will get your heart pumping if you pick up the pace of your own choosing.

Several nice overlooks. Much traffic noise towards the southern half.

Great trail, technical in spots with lots of rocks. Be sure to keep your eyes out for where the blue trail splits for Pinnacle rock trail. Beautiful views, very peaceful. WATCH OUT: large hornets nest when you first start the trail within the first 1/10 of a mile from parking lot!

Great views and easy-moderate hike ☺️

Easy to intermediate hike, great views at the end

A pretty average hike, could’ve been enjoyable without there being 70 gnats swarming my head at all times. Turned around early because they were way too annoying.

pretty view at the top :) took us ~2hrs at a moderate pace. bring water & bug spray!

Good local hike with a lot of inclines and declines. Nice views but definitely buggy in some of the shaded areas. Really well marked trails! Must do if you want a little bit of a challenge.

Great trail but very rocky and you end up climbing a few rocks to get to the top. If you bring a dog bring a longer leash. We had a great time otherwise! Watch out for black snakes. We saw two!
