Scenic af

Hiked about 4.5 miles of the trail in my neighborhood from chuck wagon lane to long ridge about 3 hrs easy to follow but lots of ticks

Nice place to hike. Lots of trails and different terrain.

nice trail, could be marked a little better ,great view from lookout

Like the park. Trails well marked.

Multiple trails to cater to all levels. I'm a regular here.

A nice mix of terrain with multiple options. You'll encounter hayfields, woodland trails, significant rock outcroppings and boulders with a few steep climbs/descents depending on the route taken. I thoroughly enjoyed it on a spectacular September morning.

Trails can be confusing. Views blocked in summer but did take orange down to water to get closeup view of lake Decent

A nice juxtaposition between the rural and urban. Easy to access.

Nice views in the spring and autumn.

Walked around Haines Pond. Nice short walk, beautiful view of the pond. Walk back goes along and on the old train tracks, which is a bit awkward to walk on.

Nice spot to hike, with pretty views and a field for relaxing. Can get very busy. The park puts on events, too, and has a beautiful house you can rent for weddings, etc.

I couldn't find the back half of the trail. Although this was my first time using the app and I had not downloaded the trail prior to my run.

I ran the front loop three times which means I ran that monster of a hill three times. When that's all you do, it kicks your butt.

The trail was a bit crowded as clearly it's family friendly. The sight is great for taking in nature and a short hike.

Next time, I'm definitely downloading the trail first to take on the back half.

Was nearly run down by the local kids on motorcycles. My daughter was so scared she refuses to go back.

Sort of creepy given the press anoint sex acts in the summer of 2016 not maintained well and truly more of a mountain bike trail.

This is a great area. I did a short hike as the wind was blowing and it was brutal cold but this looks like a pretty nice place to explore. The water is nice and there are some cool rock formations. Give it a try!

Really enjoyed the whole trail-well marked, challenging but many areas that were relaxing and easy!
There were a few areas of ice- but nothing insurmountable.

Took white-red-blue east and white trail back. Easy terrain, white trail is flat, great for running. Nice view of the lake through the bare trees. Short run, but enjoyed it.

Nice loop with partial view of Candlewood Lake in Bear Mountain Reservation. Perfect for an afternoon stroll. Meadow has nice flowers and birding nests. Park has various trails from easy to moderate.

Mountain bikers paradise. Lots of thin trails obviously used by bikers meander throughout. The main trails need maintenance and downed trees cleared. Dogs off leash is huge plus with 2 spots for him to swim. Otherwise, hikers can do better.

Well blazed and traveled trail system.

Went up to Farrington's Pond and got a bit lost following the biking trail. Easy hike, not too much variety for hikers up there. Will try the white trail along the lake next time.

Decided to backpack the trail, and spend a night in between pine mountain and Wooster. Started from redding. Good easy park at both endpoints. Pretty well blazed. Couple good views. Pretty ponds. Pretty buggy in July. Would make for a good spring or fall hike!

Not a lot of through traffic, but could definitely hear the surrounding vehicles. I enjoyed the water views. I'm glad I did it though.
