Nice shady stroll in woods. Some nice views, nothing too dramatic. Trails basically unmarked.

Great trail with lots of loops off of it and cut-through option to slightly lengthen or shorten the hike. Good for families with rocks to climb, a pond/lake, house ruins and large grassy areas. Easy strolling.

This was a wonderful trail! I would agree with others that there is poor signage but very cool landmarks and the pond was beautiful.

Great mix of trails. Plenty to see weather you're taking a quick stroll, hiking or trail running. "Technically" bikes aren't allowed on the trials but I did so a few tire tracks ;-) There is essentially a paved "road" through the middle with trails stemming off from either side. Trails in the upper NE/NW corner aren't particularly well marked, but it's a small park so very easy to get back to familiar territory. Beautiful lakes, ponds and memorials. Some great benches to sit and take it all in.

You need a Stamford parking permit from 1 May through 30 September. Or else it’s $25 to park. Which is kinda expensive to go for a late September walk. You can walk in for free, but most street parking nearby is permit only. Chelsea Piers is about 1/2 mile away and has free parking. But you need to endure the walk through a slightly skanky neighborhood. It’s a decent walk. Nice water views. Mostly paved trails. Separate lanes for foot power vs wheel power, plus a special lane for littles on wheels. I’m sure I would enjoy it more sans the parking fee.

Crowded during summer but overall a nice trail. Family friendly

Simple, enjoyable loop by the sound. Great sites, clean, & an outdoor Fitness center that looks new for a bonus workout!

Not much to write home about. Just a paved trail through a harbor. You can see Long Island across the way.

This is a flat paved 1 mile long loop alongside a beach park. Beautiful views of the Long Island sound. Good for a (very) short walk with the kids, but definitely not for hiking or biking.

Scenic route along the Connecticut coast with lots of beach access, and good seafood in the small towns along the way.

From big cities to beach towns to country to historic Mystic. You could spend 4 hours or 4 months on this drive. I have done this drive many times and would still go again.
