first time here biking, loved it, had to cut it short tho, ran out of daylight cuz of daylight savings time ugh but yeah I definitely going to come back here again it's my bike

Great beginner trail for the grandkids.

I would recommend this trail. The path is wide and gravel the entire route. This is an educational area. There are many markers for wildlife, plants and trees. Also many off shoots from the trail for areas of interest. One of the off shoots is a cut through to the other side of the trail which will shorten the route. There is also an educational center and wildlife museum just before the trail entrance.

I parked on Scoville Road. I didn't realize I had to cross Burlington Avenue to do this loop. There are some good trails that I did find and the dogs had a blast.

been here several times, take my girls here my kids actually, first time I seen the swamp though, it was pretty amazing

dog and I had great hike here, not too hard.

Always a great 45-60 hike inclusive of the fire tower stop...

Great spot! I unintentionally started off the trail ‘backwards ‘, so had a steeper incline. Was a good distance and inclines would be more rolling and gradual the other way. My dog enjoyed it, especially being able to cool off in a stream. Lots of bugs/gnats accompanied me on the walk despite having bug spray on.

Many miles of excellent singletrack goodness for intermediate to advanced riders. Kudos to NEMBA and the State Forest keepers to make this place a MTB haven. Do not venture onto any blue signed trails and a full-suspension bike is highly recommended.

Really beautiful and can be more incline depending where you start. Took my 120lb Rottweiler and he was exhausted by the end of it. Lots of places to sit and rest along the way. Will be going back regularly. I would love to check out the off trails.

great easy trail, nice pond view

Did an out-and-back with the kids from the parking area to the fire tower, then to the waterfall, and back. About 3 miles altogether. Not a bad walk, and we'll be back to explore further another time!

beautiful waterfall about half way through, well shaded

fat tire trail

Great leisurely hiking trail with some wonderful lake views and a great fire tower lookout.

My grandson & I spent the morning hiking this fairly easy, well marked, family friendly trail. The Mountain Laurel is currently in bloom so there are several colorful areas. The trail is rated as easy and most of it is, but there is a rocky area which could be a little challenging if you have physical limitations. It does not quite qualify for as scrambling, but close to it. It is just a small area about two thirds of the way around the loop going clockwise from the trail head. The trails are clean and well kept. Enjoy!!!

I enjoyed this trail... sessions woods is nice, it has something for everybody. I like feeling more alone when I hike, so this wasn’t the most optimal trail for me, but there were little paths off the main trail that made up for it. The info signs all around are great. Only annoying thing was the big port-a-potty truck almost running me and my friend over twice... didn’t really help me feel at one with nature but the trail and areas around are well maintained so can’t complain too much. If you haven’t done this trail it’s worth doing. It’s a wide gravel path (smaller trails aren’t gravel which I liked) so if you run or bike it’s perfect.

After comeing here for some mountain biking I decided to bring a couple friends here for a hike. I have seen other reviews about porly marked trails and i do agree about that but i use a couple different trail mapping apps and had no problems finding my way around. Not a lot of elivation here which was perfect as my friend had a bum knee. Fairly obvious if your on a bike trail which are short and windy but the main hiking trails cover a huge area connecting all the way to sessions and beyond with some amazing natural features along the way. Reccoment bringing bug spray and a good trail map otherwise a great spot!

My favorite go to trail!
