Length: 7.7 mi • Est. 3 h 45 m
Note: Red Mountain Open Spaces is closed from December to March due to wildlife and winter weather changes. The hike is relatively easy going, and well worth the time to find the Lookout Point. On the lookout point, you'll be rewarded with a 360º panorama of the plains, north side of Rocky Mountain National Park, Wyoming, the Cheyenne Ridge, and the amazing "Big Hole". It's always windy up there on the Ridge, and if you choose to do this one in the summer, it's hot, dry, and you'll see the occasional rattlesnake.Show more
