Great hike. The lake was beautiful and filled with fish. Hike was pretty tough, but not too bad.

HikingNo shade

Not an easy hike for someone who lives in a place with no elevation, but the Aspen groves are beautiful and in full color would be amazing. The falls themselves are pretty anticlimactic but that may be due to very low levels of water.

The trail was clear and in good repair. When I got there around 11:00 on a Tuesday there were about 5 cars there but plenty of parking. The hike is fairly pleasant and mostly in sparse woods. The views are okay but mostly partially obstructed. aside from some steep switchbacks the trail is fairly flat and good for most skill levels.

Only about 15 parking spaces. Plan accordingly.

Bathrooms at the trailhead were much cleaner than I expected. They showed that they get cleaned every 4 days or so. Even though there were multiple signs that dogs needed to be leashed, 5/6 of the dogs we saw were not and half of the people weren’t even carrying leashes.

Asked someone on the trail how they’re doing and the response was “words can’t begin to describe” - if that doesn’t say it then I don’t know what will

Incredible trail! You reach a 360 degree view at the top, then hike to Two Elk trail. Take a left at the trail crossing which will take you into Minturn. Leaves are just turning, back bowls get you excited for skiing, and the views of the Gore, and Holy Cross are absolutely worth it!

There is just about no break in elevation gain. This is a hard hike, make no mistake. But it is beautiful and worth it for the views. Once at the top, it’s kind of crowded, as expected, being at the top of the gondola. If you are expecting a nice peaceful lunch before your decent, think again. Overall the trail is accurately ranked and depicted by this app.

Gorgeous hike. We’re from out of town and it was definitely challenging with the altitude but a great workout and well worth it when you get to the top. Highly recommend climbing the waterfalls as far up as you can! I wouldn’t recommend for dogs unless they are used to hikes

Moderate, beautiful hike through Aspens to Booth Falls. 5 miles round trip from lower lot. Leaves are 2-3 weeks away from peak

Started from TH at 7:45. Perfectly cool for the way up and p warm on the way down. The elevation gain felt fine and not noticeable until the way down, but would maybe be tough for those not used to elevation or beginner hikers.

HikingGreat!Snow

This is a great trail and the lake is a spectacular finish. Outside of the initial steep pitch in the beginning of the trail, it is fairly easy until you get to the graves and head up to the lake. Be advised that most of the gain is in this stretch and most of that comes in the beginning and the end. I did this in the snow on 9/11/20 with a full pack to camp up at the lake and it was a challenge. Camping at the lake is beautiful but I experienced very cold temperatures and high winds throughout the night. No evidence of the goats that others have mentioned. The peaks surrounding the lake create a cathedral-like feeling that might be the best alpine lake view I've experienced.

Great trail. Hard work but the view was breathtaking. The parking was limited so we took the bus.

The first two miles are very steep, then you wander though a more shaded/ woodsy area. I started at 7am and had the lake to myself when I got there! I scrambled around on some rocks for a better view of the lake. This spot is *beautiful* I would recommend it!
