Hiked up to the aspen forest about 2.5 miles up the trail. Great views! Was a beautiful hike and only saw 2 groups of 3 on a Sunday morning. I lucked out on not seeing mountain bikers or crowds!

Best experience of a lifetime! as if crossing the Continental Divide isn't cool enough Jeeping was a great experience. the views were spectacular, Mount Ouray in the distance as the trail go straight up into this sky... plus love the history of this Pass must we never forget that! it's not just a trail!

Marshall Pass is a mild dirt road. Minimal washboard. Dual car passable. Some sections ok for cars. Beautiful, easy drive.
Poncha Creek is 4WD all the time. High amount of med size rocks. Narrow. Some switchbacks. All downhill.
We did this in a jeep sahara unlimited durng a bad rain storm with no problem...while it made it a blast. I would watch news cause this area has alot of water issues. On the fly camping is ideal.
