Arrived around noon. Trailhead is a closed road off to the left right as you get to the main parking lot at Cooper ski area, with a giant sign. Short walk down the road and you’ll eventually see a sluice and the path clearly visible on the left across the creek. We saw no bears, no elk, no marmots, and no people. Beautiful short hike, nice mix of forest and meadows. A+, would hike again.

Very pretty! But mosquitoes attacked us the whole way, definitely bring heavy duty bug spray. Also need water shoes!

Trail is opened back up all the way through as of 7/2. It's a great trail with beautiful views!

Great, easy trail-perfect for a day hike! I started around 1pm which ended up being perfect because you miss a lot of the crowds and still have plenty of time to get up and back. There are two creek crossings where water shoes/sandals come in handy. Only a couple steep parts, so it’s ideal if you don’t want something too strenuous.

Great trail but signage for Lily Lake is very poor. Ended up missing our turn and going for a few miles down the CDT. If you enter the loop on the south west direction make sure to turn right before you cross the first bridge.

Sparsely used on beautiful Sunday around noon. Gentle hike with some awesome views along way. Perfect for well behaved off leash dogs.

No trail, it is all just navigating. I did enjoy, once you clear the trees, it is fairly obvious where you should go. The climb up was a workout, but that why we do it. To get the to peak, you have to cross an almost knife-edge, just be careful and all it good. Dog had no problems.

Saw a medium-sized bear on the trail about noon today. Backed away and the bear took off. Be aware!

Beautiful route to get to this trail going around Turquoise Lake. Trailhead was very busy but the traffic on the trail wasn’t too bad and it’s wide enough to pass people. One spot where you had to wade knee deep in a creek to continue on the trail so I’d recommend bringing water shoes if you have them. Otherwise a beautiful lake views at the end!

Beautiful hike and wonderful view of the lake at the end. Took our dogs, they we much better at the creek crossing than we were. One at 1.3mi and another smaller one at 1.8mi. Used the rope as mentioned here for the first crossing and walked over the logs on the second. Bring water shoes or just accept wet feet like we did. Well worth it! Hiked 6/23/20 at 4pm

Great path for running. Trail closed near matchless mine but traveling the other direction offers great views.

The river crossing is too treacherous early in the season. It’s a small crossing but it’s fast and down to your waist.

This trail has it all! Good mix of shade and sunshine, gorgeous views, and the dog loved all the water access along the trail! Be warned there is a river crossing about 1.5 miles up but don't turn around!! It's worth it to get your feet a little (lot?) wet to see what's at the top! Also highly recommend bug spray! (Hiked 6/22 - arrived 9:45 AM and had the trail to ourselves until we hiked down in the afternoon.)

Very beautiful hike! As the other reviews started, theres a river crossing. To add to this, when going up trail, use the right side of the rope. It's not as deep and the rope won't pull you off balance, and you won't fall (like I did) . Down trail stay on the left of the rope (same path through as before). Camp sites are a little flooded when you get to the lake, but there are still spots. Beautiful lake view! Knowing the best way to get through the one river, I would definitely do again! Bring bug spray!

Great little hike. Be prepared for mosquitoes and a river crossing (about shin to thigh deep). The lake is gorgeous and there’s plenty of fish to catch. Backpacked up there with about 3 other people camping around the lake. Lots of lake front to explore once up there!

21Jun2020- 2.5 mile (one way) great hike with plenty of shade, parking lot was full before 10:00 but not too crowded for a Sunday. Substantial creek crossing at the 1.5 mile mark, take a pair of sandals. Super windy at the lake, but that’s the mountains in the afternoon. Wet around the lake.
