Great hike. Wouldn’t consider it hard...more moderate. Started at Stagecoach...start to finish time was about 5.5 hrs, but we took our time eating lunch and taking pics at the top.

Did a quick little out-and-back trail on the Meadow trail because I didn't feel like I would have time to summit Bergen Peak. Very serene walk through the trees. Lots of mountain bikers but most of them were very polite and communicative (plus, I never have a problem ducking out of the way for people), one of them even told me to have a great hike. Looking forward to coming back and summiting.

Easy hike and good for taking non-acclimated visitors!

Did this today, 5/13. Nice trail, surprisingly dry. No views, due to mist.

Beautiful view.

Nice trail and enjoyed the falls. The only thing missing were nice vista views

Awesome trail during the week! Little to no traffic and great picnic spots!

Great hike with the kids. Easy trail

the evelation gain was only 2,000 feet from the lower meadow, but I wandered around until I hit the "too long trail" and peaked. I've hiked all the other Elk Meadow trails and this was , by far, my favorite, however, in the future I'll start from the upper Stagecoach trailhead. when I was back to my car I had hiked 8 miles and felt good. The elevation gain is 700 feet less than bierstadt, but overall a good test of endurance to prep for the easiest 14'er. Outstanding hike!

Decent trail length (4.2 miles) and incline. We started the hike Sunday morning at 9 am and the parking lot was already filling up, but the trail wasn’t too crowded yet. The falls are still partially frozen with water flowing underneath the ice. There are great views from the Cliff Overlook trail, but there are places where the trail is a bit confusing and not clearly marked. I recommend getting an early start (9 or earlier) before the crowds show up. It took us about 2.5 hours with a small snack break in the middle.

By far one of my favorite quick go to’s. I love the weaving in and out of the trees and the rock ledge that peaks out so you can see your car in the parking lot. Heavily trafficked but still enjoyable. Great for a quick booty workout and then soak your feet in the creek!

Really enjoyed the hike through the trees alongside the mountain. The contrast between the meadow and the mountain kept the hike interesting. Meadow part is busy but once you turn off to go up into the mountain side it’s teeters off in traffic. Traffic will go both ways and a great trail for mountain bikes so make sure you’re aware!

Loved this hike and did our kids. Easy enough and some beautiful views.

Lots of bikes, terrain is nice and shaded

Beautiful trail. Lots of evergreens so you're not fully exposed. Uphill one direction but not too intense. Not many hikers but several bikes.

I loved this trail .. it was a awesome starter trail. I have only hiked a few times but this one wasn’t to hard and it was very easy to follow the trails !

After finishing Bear Creek to Bruin Bluff and Creekside Trail, I looked up a near by short trail. This was the same trail as Bear Creek to Bruin Bluff and Creekside Trail but coming from the busier side of the parking area. At 10:30am, I had to drive around few circles to find a parking spot. Lots of family, kids are out.

Great, short hike close to Denver. Elevation at the beginning and then it eases of. Keep an eye out for mountain bikes.

My doggo and I really enjoyed this trail. There are sections of the trail that open up nicely and are pretty wide, was very relaxing to walk through on a Tuesday afternoon. The falls are still frozen, can’t wait for summer so I can see it flowing. Happy to have found this trail.

Husband and I with our pup hiked this trail. Very enjoyable. The falls are melting some and the streams are fun for our dog.

The falls were still frozen today, but no snow on the trail at all! There isn’t a trash at the trailhead, so be prepared to pack your dog poop out! There were so many dog poop bags along the side of the trail that people just left. It was VERY busy (Sunday).

a great hike close to denver! be ready to hike - pretty much the whole way to the falls is uphill. it’s worth it though, the forrest is beautiful. the falls are still frozen, i can’t imagine how beautiful they’ll be in the summer!

I started from the Stagecoach Drive trailhead. Bluebird day, with an amazing view at the summit! The mile stretch leading into Bergen Peak Wildlife Area is a steep climb, on the way up. But the view is worth it. I'll defintely do this hike again!

Nice hike if you’re looking to stay close to Denver. Pretty easy difficulty wise if you are an active person, with parts that will get your HR up. Not much for overlook views, but great scenery. VERY BUSY trail on the weekends with ALOT of dogs, many of which are off leash.

Good hike, I would say it’s a little more difficult than “moderate”, lots of incline. Not much for sure views.

Pretty Hike. Brought my fiance, who is finally hiking into hiking with me. I didn't love the part of the trail next to the highway, but it turns inwards towards the mountain pretty quick. The girl couldn't let me go to the top, so I'll come back and bag that another day. Lots os people, but good hike. The dog absolutely love it, but then, she's no picky.

Love this hike!! I’ve done it twice this spring already. Just waiting for the summer so the waterfall starts flowing

Loved it. Very pretty. Great lookout at the top. One of the best foothills hikes I’ve found so far

There wasn’t much to see when it came to the waterfalls. It was really just a creek. It was a nice hike for exercising and some really pretty views.
