Chilly day up the trail. A mix of packed snow and sandy snow. Traction not needed.

The trail was great yesterday! Partly snow covered but not difficult to manage at all. Views are killer. Wasn’t too busy either.

Today the view was spectacular. The trail to the summit was 1/2 dry and 1/2 covered with a light dusting of dry snow that was crunchy but not sloppy or icy at all. The snow was less than 1/2” deep.

Nice hike with a steady incline for most of it, so you get a little work out in. I climbed on the rocks at the top of Three Sisters and there are some great views there! So far my favorite hike in Three Sisters Park. The parking lot was already full at 9am on a Saturday in December, so go early or on a weekday to avoid people!

Love this trail. A good steady incline up, beautiful buttery downhill to a nice creek flow off of the falls. Beautiful in winter, can’t wait to head back in the spring.

Completed this trail along with other trails at Three Sisters Park. You can hike at the Three Sisters from a few different entrances.

I hiked this one while completing Three Sisters, Dedisse, and Hidden Fawn Loop Trail. Pretty one, and easy trail.

I should have read Jeff Lee's note before I headed out. Yes, the map is OFF. If you go to the upper Dedisse trail by following the map, it will take you to "closed" or "old" trail used to be. Just follow the sign "Three Sisters" will take you to the right one. This took me extra 0.4 miles or so. Thought it will be coovered with snow or icey trail but I was over-dressed for this trail. The trail was easy to hike. View is ok, compared to the rest of the Alderfer / Three SIsters Park routes. Have fun! x

Icy in spots but clear path overall; wore traction going down. Beautiful trail

Great moderate hike. Not much snow today. took about 2 hours including a break at the top and I had a baby on my back. A great view once you get to the top and some nice aspens along the way....somebody even left a pre-rolled out there.

Only saw a few people in the distance on this one. not much traffic on Friday at 1pm.

This is a great workout. Close to Denver and easy to find. There’s a few interlinking trails so make sure you’re aware. I ended up heading to Bergen Peak (otherwise the views are the same most of the way through) then finished the loop and it was fun and worthwhile but I felt the challenge for sure. You’ll see a good amount of wildlife too. It was low traffic but a couple people had dogs off leash

Short and steep, but great views at the top! Winds were a little crazy today, so didn’t spend too much time up top. Some icy spots on the trail that spikes may have been useful for, but managed just fine.

Loved it! Quick run out and back, snow and ice mix on the path but not bad. Beautiful views!

This is a great hike to do in the winter. The trail is easy to follow even with fresh snow and it may be the only time of year you don't have to fight for a parking spot. Nice steady climb to Evergreen Mountain through very thick forest. Some nice views from the top of Evergreen. Currently a lot of snow and some icy spots. Although we did not break out the Yak Trax they would have come in handy. This is a nice hike close to Denver,l Just keep in mind it gets very crowded when the weather is nice.

A decent hike with a gradual climb and ascent to a nice view. Some snow on the trail made it slippery in spots, but overall a moderate hike on easy terrain.

A fun hike with Kalina Miller today on this easy to find trail with some excellent views. The inclines are not so steep really and there are some nice level sections and a few short downhills. Enjoy the scenery and take lots of pics.

Such a fun little trail! Small bit of scrambling to the rocks at the top. Spikes were useful but probably not required today. Lovely views. Port-o-let at the trailhead. (I always find it useful know!)

It was a quick loop. The view was pretty with snow, but I am sure it would be a bit boring one during the summer. No shades, so winter time is the best!:) x

Enjoyed this hike while I completed another trail at Three sisters park.

It was a nice and easy hike although covered with fresh snow. This could be a bit boring in the summer because there are only Evergreens around. Ran into few people with bikes, dogs and hikers.

I did this hike yesterday (11/11) and the trail was snow covered. It was very pretty with all the snow. We didn’t do the entire trail but enjoyed the portion we did do. I did it fine with nice snow boots but it was a little slippery at times. My friend had crampons on her shoes and they seemed to work well. Snow shoes would have been overkill

I did this one in summer, pretty heavily trafficked but it is nice and cozy to walk around the lake.

It's a short one, but great for a morning away. Had the trail to myself and didn't see anyone til I got back to the parking lot. No snow yet, but the incline is real! Views are amazing at the top (minus the mansions built into the mountainsides).

Good for 6 year old granddaughter. Easy, aspens, good rock formations and enough elevation to keep it interesting. Decent bathrooms. Fun to stop in Evergreen after

Beautiful but busy, go early

Decent hike that starts with a mild incline, then fluctuates with ups and downs. Nice mellow hike, no real view points. Good for staying close to Denver. Some of the trails are blocked off so it was easy to get turned around, navigating with AllTrails was needed to get to the right place.

Easy trail, gets a bit steep at the end. Very quiet and peaceful. Trail is mostly a dirt road in the woods, then opens up to a small meadow. Would be good for snowshoeing.

The first part of the trail is light on people. Once you merge into Meadow Trail (which then heads to Devil’s Elbow), there is heavy traffic (a lot of mountain bikes were out today).

There is very minimal snow on the sides of the trail and some of the standing water is starting to ice over, but no issues for walking through the trails. This hike met my craving for getting out and about, but the trails are definitely on the east side. It’s more like a walk that a hike that gets your heart pumping. Similar to other reviews, it is easy to take another unintended path and end up back at your car sooner than expected. I did enjoy the views of the mountains and overlooking evergreen high school. Overall the hike was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn’t do it again.
