nice short trail with some pretty surroundings. still some road noise and actually somewhat crowded even though it was a rainy day.

Beautiful trail, better to do early morning or later in evening as there is a lot of sun

Wild iris and other flowers in bloom. Hummingbirds buzzing. A few other hikers but many more mountain bikers. Everyone having a good time. Bike Ranger issued a few warnings to folks with dogs off lead. At the top is a vista of beautiful snow capped Mt Evans. Blue sky!

This is a great trail. I went on a Saturday 5/12/18 and got there at 9am it wasn't too busy and only crossed paths with people a few times.
The trail was nice and I look forward to running it next time. It offers amazing views at multiple points, and the meadow was amazing to look at while finishing the hike.
Also passed people walking donkey's which was a bonus.

Based off the previous reviews I had read, did this hike solo and enjoyed every minute of it. Traffic was light, only ran into a few people every now and then. Climbed down to sit on the rocks in front of the falls, but couldn’t initially figure out how to get back up the rocks back to the trail. Overall, can’t wait to hike again and looking forward to a nice warm day so I can wade in the stream to cool off. During the week is best too- hardy any traffic.

Really was a very nice hike .. first part was straight up, but than the views were awesome ! The rest of hike was pretty easy with wonderful scenery

I typically do 10 mi hikes, so to me this trail is easy with a sprinkle of challenge. You get good scenery, little waterfalls, trees, wildflowers, and little rivers. I brought hiking sandals so that I could walk through the water and keep myself cool. The hike is the best when its cloudy. Theres also a place where you can overlook the mountain and its valleys about 10 mins in. The trail wasnt really busy, saw maybe 4 groups of hikers. One of my favorite quick hikes!

There are few trails here, so you can explore quite a bit. There is cell service so you can open the All Trails app and see where you are. One path is wide and flat, good for running! Other paths have narrow trails in the deep forest, beautiful creek, and bluffs overlooking the falls, highly recommend.

Wonderful, easy to moderate hike! Falls are small but beautiful. Great for my pup as nothing difficult and not too long! Perfect for a short morning or afternoon hike!

Amazing hike! The views were beautiful and we even got to see some deer along the trail!

Great trail. The trail was dry and very scenic.

Great hike. Wouldn’t consider it hard...more moderate. Started at Stagecoach...start to finish time was about 5.5 hrs, but we took our time eating lunch and taking pics at the top.

Did a quick little out-and-back trail on the Meadow trail because I didn't feel like I would have time to summit Bergen Peak. Very serene walk through the trees. Lots of mountain bikers but most of them were very polite and communicative (plus, I never have a problem ducking out of the way for people), one of them even told me to have a great hike. Looking forward to coming back and summiting.

Quick, steep incline hike with my sissy for her Birthday. Absolutely beautiful! Not much foot traffic. Will hike this one again!

Easy hike and good for taking non-acclimated visitors!

Did this today, 5/13. Nice trail, surprisingly dry. No views, due to mist.

Nice trail and enjoyed the falls. The only thing missing were nice vista views

It was a nice, quick hike. Mountain bikers were pretty heavy on the trail, but polite. I would suggest a small bell on your backpack though if you’re hiking alone as I just happened to stumble across a pretty big black bear. Luckily it just looked at me and moved up the hill.

Beautiful bike or hiking trail! Elk herds can be seen if you’re lucky!

Awesome trail during the week! Little to no traffic and great picnic spots!

Great hike with the kids. Easy trail

Decent trail length (4.2 miles) and incline. We started the hike Sunday morning at 9 am and the parking lot was already filling up, but the trail wasn’t too crowded yet. The falls are still partially frozen with water flowing underneath the ice. There are great views from the Cliff Overlook trail, but there are places where the trail is a bit confusing and not clearly marked. I recommend getting an early start (9 or earlier) before the crowds show up. It took us about 2.5 hours with a small snack break in the middle.

Really enjoyed the hike through the trees alongside the mountain. The contrast between the meadow and the mountain kept the hike interesting. Meadow part is busy but once you turn off to go up into the mountain side it’s teeters off in traffic. Traffic will go both ways and a great trail for mountain bikes so make sure you’re aware!

Lots of bikes, terrain is nice and shaded

Beautiful trail. Lots of evergreens so you're not fully exposed. Uphill one direction but not too intense. Not many hikers but several bikes.

I loved this trail .. it was a awesome starter trail. I have only hiked a few times but this one wasn’t to hard and it was very easy to follow the trails !

Great, short hike close to Denver. Elevation at the beginning and then it eases of. Keep an eye out for mountain bikes.

Steep and short. I only saw one other hiker so not busy. Great place for family

My doggo and I really enjoyed this trail. There are sections of the trail that open up nicely and are pretty wide, was very relaxing to walk through on a Tuesday afternoon. The falls are still frozen, can’t wait for summer so I can see it flowing. Happy to have found this trail.

Husband and I with our pup hiked this trail. Very enjoyable. The falls are melting some and the streams are fun for our dog.
