Best running trail! Pretty views and a long route.

Great warm up or beginner mountain biker trail! Great courses filled with all the skills you would expect to see in mountain biking. Also a great place to develop skills and have some fun. Awesome thing to do if you have some free time. Very impressive trail for being near the city. Great ride!

Great trail, mostly flat but relaxing . Would be great for biking! Long routes.

filled with meh and boredom. there's a few cool obstacles, nothing you and your huffy and or single speed CX bike can't conquer. easy ride as a warm-up for the spring or as previously stated, to stay 'sharp' during the winter. riders of anything beyond novice skill will be bored. the only hard thing there is trying some of the obstacles backwards. I can hit em all, without putting a foot down, can you?

I love that it is not a cement surface

Only part is a trail, the rest is side walk on the road

Great all around trail
Mostly flat
Little traffic

Great running trail!

Home trail.... we love it!

This trail is just a beautiful ride any time of year, hard to believe it is in the middle of a a large metropolitan area!

Great pre-season tune up course to get ready for Summer mountain trails, or solid off season course to get out and play and keep skills sharp. This is also a fantastic place to teach kids and newbies how to mountain bike... trails have technical training areas that also allow the rider to simply go around the area if they aren’t ready for that challenge. There are also a few different loops for varying skill levels. Very impressed with this park and it’s trails.

This is a good place to go running or biking, but plan ahead if you're going mid-day. Some stretches of trail don't have much cover. I've run from Alameda to Iliff and even through Fairmount, there isn't a ton of shade.

Can I just do a hike or a walk on this trail ?

not a bad trail

Excellent in town skills test to get you ready for the mountain. Waiting for the higher elevation trails to thaw out this is a great place to get the wheels turning. Even on busy days this trail offers a great opportunity for a quick ride or an afternoon adventure. All skill levels will be great here and there is plenty of man made obstacles for every level. A solid 4 stars!

Love this trail. One can forget one's in the city. Peaceful and accommodating for so many people. In the spring the canal runs alongside. Even in the winter, trail is usable but there's often ice or mud.

Numerous obstacles from beginner to expert. Great place to teach kids technique. Unbelievable sessions, from switchbacks to log rolls, from steep incline to pump track, drop-offs to technical climbs. This place has it all. Only thing missing is big jumps. Would recommend to riders of all abilities. Only knock on this trail is that it has no shade but the trees are only a short ride away.

I don't see how this place is rated so high. The few obstacles that are there are intermediate for a kid maybe. It's annoying to hear all the traffic right off of i225. No shade what so ever. The only nice part is how close it is... takes 20 minutes to get there from my house. Go just a little outside of the city and find a much nicer trail.

I love this park I will definitely come back again, so many thing to do!

I like it

Five stars for meeting its purpose. I have ridden these trails with my 9 year old daughter and 10 year old son. The other people on the trail were friendly, and I felt like there was ample time and space for me to teach my children mountain biking skills. There's plenty of room for them to grow and practice here before going to more difficult and longer trails. It's just a great place to assess their skills and stamina. There is no sun protection here, so prepare accordingly. Fortunately, you are never far from the parking lot.
