Lovely views and good trail options. Very muddy and some snow at this time of year.

Mixed. Mud and snow and dry.

Nice easy walk with a great view of Denver. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. A few stores and restraunts within walking distance.

Nice short run in the park! Great group of people and pups on the trail! Sunday is the best!

Incredibly muddy and snowy today. Probably best in the morning while the ground is more firm. Lots of dog poop on the trail also.

It’s a very nice walk that you would not expect in Denver. Great views of the Rockies. Added bonus, start from you hotel or Airbnb and it can be a nice 4-6 mile walk through the city.

Nice low traffic spot on the east side of the city with great views from the top. Close to Highline Canal.

Nice walking route but very muddy because of the snow. Beautiful views of the mountains. Great fenced in dog park near the route.

Not actually an official route trail. There’s also one point where a drainage runs across the trail and can be treacherous. And in part ended up walking on the golf course where I don’t think dogs are allowed but I had my dog. Still a fun walk

This trail has a cool lookout area where you can see the Bald Eagle nesting area.

perfect jogging trail and place to walk your dog.

hate to see needles here

This is a diverse and intimate lake neighborhood trail preserved so far - although high rises are going up on the south side of the lake and we neighbors must protect the sanctity of this lake with its inevitable increase in traffic. There is room for all but we must keep it pristine. I’ve been glad to see recent running paths installed and real care for the lake. There are beautiful birds and muskrats here. It would be great if motor boats were prohibited - in the summer it is always one or two out there tearing around. The lake itself changes faces daily if you observe.

Wonderful little city trail that feels like a little prairie dog and rabbit wonderland! There is a sweet lake and it was very quiet as well. Fabulous little running path in the city. Not a destination trail but if you are near it and need a leg stretch - it’s perfect!

I have lived near and utilized this lake and its playgrounds since 2005. Sometimes I forget to appreciate what a gem it is on the western edge of Denver with a great view of the city skyline. I’m excited that the city is currently putting in a jogging path to allow me to run off of the concrete. I will likely do many more runs there now that that is in place. Often an interesting place to Bird for waterfowl, especially during the winter and spring and fall migration.

Great views and really good place to see yourself a P.D...

I used to walk this trail on my lunch break all the time. It’s close to Denver but feels like you are out of the city for a little bit while you are walking.

Nice, well maintained city trail surrounded by houses. I like that it has both concrete and gravel trails to choose from, but only in certain sections.

Nice area to walk and get some light excersise breaks my heart to see all the trash in the creek and every where in general

Love these paths. They branch off at multiple spots so lots of areas to explore. You can get views of the creek, large trees & views of the mountains from these paths.

Great for going on a walk or run! Has views of downtown and the mountains.

A lot people both running and biking, largely millennials/30-somethings, and has the feel of a big city trail that is used primarily for after work runs and bicycle commutes. Can be sketchy in parts if you linger. Pretty sure we saw a guy doing drugs behind a tree.

Road this trail as a novice. Beautiful trail with a variety of terrain to see, and a nice view of Denver waiting for you at the reservoir. Homeless people do tend to set up camp closer to the downtown Denver area. But, once you make your way further the trail is quiet. I went during the week so I can imagine it would get crowded on the weekend. Happy travels!

Easy trail- we didn’t it with little electric scooters from the convention center to the REI. Round trip takes less than 30 minutes on scooter, perhaps that distance would take 1-2 hours on foot.

Nice easy walk/run/bike trail

Beautiful day to get the dogs out! First time on trail and you have to watch...lots of ways to get off the trail shown on the map above. Although, it’s just a beautiful area so I enjoyed exploring the different paths and connecting back to the main path. The whole recreation area was well maintained. Lots of people and other dogs.
