Perfect for a walk today. Paved trail. Loved walking through the “garden” area as well. Lots of benches to relax and enjoy the view of the reservoir.

Good for a mostly shaded walk. Lots of plants and birds

Late morning weekday only passed a few people. Not too busy but bring water because ITS HOT.

Made this into a short lollipop loop with the wetland trail. A bit buggy, but enough shade to make this doable on hot days.

Went yesterday at around 11am and it was fairly empty. Great hike!

Really nice little park with a great view. Wish I’d known about this sooner.

Always enjoy Green Mountain, but... Only about 5% of users were wearing masks today when passing others, on a Saturday on a very narrow trail. It’s infuriating how few people are following guidelines designed to stop the spread.

Solid 6 mile loop with good views. Otherwise not remarkable because the entire back half is pretty narrow and rocky and it’s difficult to get out of the way of bikes.

Great easy hike with decent scenery in the west side. Courteous humans.

This is just a little connector trail that links up other trails in the area.. It's a forest walk on a dirt path. The highlight is a little waterfall a few minutes in.

pretty nice trail. not sure why it has so few reviews, considering how crowded it was. so many freakin bikers, i must’ve come across at least 70 people on bikes while walking this trail. fortunately the walking path is wide so it wasn’t an issue. nice views. not sure why it’s rated moderate? maybe because of the 4.6mi distance. not too strenuous at all though

The wildflowers were beautiful. Wasn’t too busy. Good first hike of the year.

Trail was nice but the bugs were not! It was like swimming through a sea of gnats shedding their skin. Don’t go at sunset unless you want to find out what that’s like. Pretty Mountain View’s overall and a nice big trail. The bugs definitely won’t be forgotten though!

Arrived on 5/20/20 (Wednesday) at about 2pm. Parking lot was about 60% full. Sunny (82F), clear skies and 30-40mph sustained winds the higher you go with gusts even higher than that. Slightly rocky at parts. Great views of the mountains, Denver and other smaller cities. There were 10+ hikers out there but didn’t feel crowded at all. It’s a Dog and kid friendly trail if you have both of them on leash. The trail can get narrow and if you fall, it’s a long way down. I really enjoyed this hike. Finished the hike under the estimated time.

Arrived at the trail on 5/20/2020 (Wednesday) around 9:45am. 5-8 others were already there. This trail is a very easy, well kept and paved spot. No shade but the sunny clear skies and a constant breeze made it enjoyable for me. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Plenty of parking on the side of the road. Knocked it out in about 15min 30sec.

A pretty exposed gravel climb that makes for a nice leg-burner on limited time. Saw a coyote and a pronghorn. Definitely recommend getting there early / late in the day to avoid crowds.

love this loop as there are typically fewer people, as was the case this day. with babe on back and pup at side. babe struggled toward the end, was a bit too long for her.

with babe on back and pup by side. fairly busy, and not everyone wearing masks when passing.

Good go to hike close to Denver. Go early to avoid crowds!
