Great trail to ride. They are adding tree carvings near the Fair Grounds. I love that they are always improving the trail.

If you want a verified completed for this trail you need to go over the dam. My favorite place in Denver for distance runs. If you go completely around the perimeter of the park it's almost 15 M.

I didnt realize how beautiful it is around Cherry Creek State Park! The trails around the reservoir were absolutely beautiful. The Dam trail was my favorite part, riding right along the water. Loved it!!! I rode through the wetlands area near the south end of the lake on my bike (not allowed though, oops) and it was so unique with the tall grass and cattails! Would come back here to hike too. Only fail was a flat tire on the way back home which was disappointing since the sunset would have been visible on the way home. Will definitely do this again for the full ride including back home! :)

Great for speed!! Highly trafficked paced trail. Can stretch the distance we’ll passed 13mi one way. Beautiful creek along the way and lots of wildflowers! Equal parts shade and sun so it was pretty hot mid afternoon.

Great ride, beautiful overlook near the end. Massive hill just past that though.

Lots of mosquitoes. Tons of toads on the trail at night. Beautiful forest!

This trail has a lot of hidden gems! one of my favorites to do because free street parking, easy access, and and lots of pretty views. It is pretty busy and a lot of bikers who can be a little ruthless. Just be aware of your surroundings if you’re a runner because you might get hit with a bike if not. It is paved but a lot of the wonderful views are off to the side of the trail a little bit.

Nice wide trail with little people if you go north. Smells like poop among other putrid scents.

great ride today, 32 miles round-trip! It was neat seeing all of the rafters, kayakers, and SUP people going down the rapids closer to the park. Highly recommend, just can get a bit hot in the middle of the day so is great as an early morning or late afternoon ride. also, there's a ni e coffee and smoothie shop about halfway down. Their mango smoothies are bomb and perfect for a mid ride pick me up.

Great running trail! Be aware of road bikers and fellow runners, but everyone has great trail etiquette here in Denver :)

Made this into a short lollipop loop with the wetland trail. A bit buggy, but enough shade to make this doable on hot days.

This is just a little connector trail that links up other trails in the area.. It's a forest walk on a dirt path. The highlight is a little waterfall a few minutes in.

I drive by around this area almost everyday for work and was curious about this trail but known as lots of homeless people. Since the 4 start trail, I wanted to try. I have a mix feeling about this trail as this was a cool city paved trail with a ton of runners and bikers but it smells gross under the bridges and some parts were not very present view. Parking will be a street parking and find good time and area to find a spot to park since where it starts is a residential area. 05/25/202 #22

Running

Came here today around 7:30am for the 1st time and parked in the lot near Smith Rd & Havana. From the trailhead,I took a right (West bound). It was a concrete path with detours and crosswalks along Central Park Blvd. Then I crossed over and ran along side the Northfield Mall. There I saw Praire dogs and a found a dirt path. Next time, I will go left (East bound) from the trailhead because it is a dirt path that direction and more ideal for running.
