Easy paved walk. A lot of bugs, but it was rainy today.

A lot of cyclists.. we had to move over a lot. The views are really nice and I love watching the tall grass blow in the wind. I would just prefer to do it without sharing with bikes.

Beautiful lake with a nice breeze on this partly cloudy Saturday. Nice and simple paved loop perfect for leisurely strolls. Nothing too exciting though. Lots of green space for the dog. Beware the goose poop!

Soooo pretty!! All the wild flowers are in full loom.

Wildflowers are blooming now. A nice trail with some good views for being in the city. A lot of bikers.

Good if you’re looking for something easy close to Denver, but not if you’re trying to feel isolated in the wilderness. Lots of mountain biking. Doesn’t speak well of all the hikers that we saw more runners and bikers wearing face masks than those walking. Appreciate those who did. It shows you care about those around you. The opposite holds true for the vast majority who choose not to on such a narrow and crowded trail...

Beautiful views, really long trail, didn’t research so I was shocked it took me 3 hours to get through the 6 miles on foot.. lots of inclines & declines, so wear good shoes or hiking boots.. Lots of bikers also so constantly moving out of the way

great views at the top of this hike! also pretty windy up there, which felt great after making the trek up. there were quite a few bikers, and the trail itself is pretty narrow at certain points, so be alert of your surroundings. nice big parking lot with 2 port-o-potty’s available

Trail was nice but the bugs were not! It was like swimming through a sea of gnats shedding their skin. Don’t go at sunset unless you want to find out what that’s like. Pretty Mountain View’s overall and a nice big trail. The bugs definitely won’t be forgotten though!

I really enjoyed this trail actually!

First city park we hiked here in Denver. Beautiful open space to lay in the sun.

Beautiful sunny Denver day

Arrived on 5/20/20 (Wednesday) at about 2pm. Parking lot was about 60% full. Sunny (82F), clear skies and 30-40mph sustained winds the higher you go with gusts even higher than that. Slightly rocky at parts. Great views of the mountains, Denver and other smaller cities. There were 10+ hikers out there but didn’t feel crowded at all. It’s a Dog and kid friendly trail if you have both of them on leash. The trail can get narrow and if you fall, it’s a long way down. I really enjoyed this hike. Finished the hike under the estimated time.

Arrived at the trail on 5/20/2020 (Wednesday) around 9:45am. 5-8 others were already there. This trail is a very easy, well kept and paved spot. No shade but the sunny clear skies and a constant breeze made it enjoyable for me. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Plenty of parking on the side of the road. Knocked it out in about 15min 30sec.

Great hilly trail, both paved and unpacked options

Easy trail with nice scenery by a little river. Most of the trail is paved but there are parts of it that go down by the river which aren't well marked.

Good trail , get good View of Denver skyline, good for picnicking.

Lots of ducks floatin’ down stream. Most of the trail was paved. Seemed the trail wanted to take me behind some businesses; seemed sketch so I turned around back. Cool little openings along stream to let pup cool off.not my favorite but enjoyable. Probably won’t be back anytime soon

Pretty bike crowded but wasn't hard to let them pass, lots of ways to go up, down, or around and it makes it feel longer and more interesting than taking one big loop but I always knew I'd find my way back since it is one.

Burnam Park Loop

Delightful little nature preserve in the middle of the city. Some shade, lots of trail choices, and family friendly

Watch out for bikers who don’t seem to know how to move to the right when on a 10+ foot wide trail and have the audacity to say fuck you. Enjoy!
