Running

This trail has a lot of hidden gems! one of my favorites to do because free street parking, easy access, and and lots of pretty views. It is pretty busy and a lot of bikers who can be a little ruthless. Just be aware of your surroundings if you’re a runner because you might get hit with a bike if not. It is paved but a lot of the wonderful views are off to the side of the trail a little bit.

Not a lot of people walking the trail. It’s paved so stroller friendly. No shade.

Don’t make it a destination but if you live in the area it’s a great place to walk your dog or get your miles in quick!

A mini adventure walk great for kids. You can walk to the hill top, the urban way, the lake loop and the playground with lots to explore trail side.

This is a walk. A short one. Good for toddlers, families of disparate ages, and naturalists.

Great running trail! Be aware of road bikers and fellow runners, but everyone has great trail etiquette here in Denver :)

Very nice trail. Decently populated, even though I walked it at 7:00am. This is a good one of you need something quick and easy. Would be great for kids.

First off I wouldn’t even consider this a trail. I’m surprised myself to see this park is on here. This park is literally surrounded by apartments (which I live in) it’s a very small loop a I’m not good at eye balling but less then a mile forsure. There’s a play ground and some benches no shade, a lot of grass hoppers especially right now at this time. It’s a rocky paved trail. Super easy, basically just a jogging circle. I thought it was part of our apartment complex. To be honest don’t waste your time coming here. There’s a million other places that are better.

Another easy/clean park trail. Not much to see but it’s a quick little <2mile trail that you can loop a few times if need be.

"Dogs are also available to use this trail" Your darn right because this is one of the greatest dog parks of all time!! Wow!! It is massive. It even has a creek that they can play in. Very impressive! As a hike..meh. Really great view of the mountains though.

Arrived on 5/20/20 around 12:45pm. Clear skies, sunny and a constant breeze. There were 4 people on this trail with me. The trial is extremely easy, kinda boring and on its way to being run down as the nearby pond has dried up and weeds/bushes have grown in. There is no shade. The trail is behind some apartments and you’ll need to park on the street and walk a little bit to get to the trail. Kid friendly (there is a playground here too) and dog friendly. Completed the trail in under the estimated time.

Arrived on 5/20/20 (Wednesday) around 12 noon. Clear skies, sunny and a constant breeze. Only about 5 people around when I was there. The trail is an easy, paved and trash free walk/jog/run. No rocks and very little shade. Kid and dog friendly. There is a playground a few feet from the trail. There are multiple places to park at different points of the trail. I finished under the estimated time.

Nice backyard quiet parts, only goes by 1-25 twice. Figure out a better route to the Evans bridge that isn’t along Evans - it’s too busy to bike on the sidewalk w the broken glass

Great trail that runs from Confluence Park all the way down to south to Cherry Creek Reservoir. The trail can be really busy on the weekends so be on the lookout. Really pretty!

Just a strange route. Rather than following this route, just go to wander this small neighborhood park. The area near Speer is composed of a landscaped garden and the part north of third is open grass, basketball courts, playground equipment, and picnic tables.

Concrete path great for biking. A few nice stretches along the South Platte River but otherwise hemmed in by fences and construction.

Another great local dog walking spot :) You can get some nice views of the Denver skyline on upper parts of the trail.
