Wanted to jump in lake it was beautiful

Cute little place!! Awesome mini waterfall to the right after you cross the river where you can slide off a naturally made rock slide and jump off a little cluster of rocks!

Hiked on 11/04/17. No parking where All Trails begins. Have to park at the Brush Creek TH 1 mile prior. So add 2 miles RT. Some snow, rain, fog, and a little sun made for a very pleasant November walk in the woods. Never saw another person! Didn't know there'd be splendid views of Teocali, as it was too foggy in the morning to realize it should be visible from the parking lot. But near the end of the big descent, the weather cleared and the peak showed itself. Magical! Would recommend this hike in the winter, but wouldn't waste a Summer day in CB doing measly little this one. Besides, in the Summer it's probably crowded by bikers.

went to the falls then kept going to the end.

Nice short hike.

Awesome trail with incredible views! Hiked to Judd Falls and then continued on the Copper Creek Trail for a total of six miles out and back. Great hike! Lots of "cow pies" and a couple instances where I had to go around some cattle but no big deal.

Did this trail today from the Elkton side all the way up to Gothic Mountain Summit...Beautiful views, but not for the faint of heart. About halfway to Gothic Mountain, the trail is VERY steep. And the second false summit of Gothic Mountain is basically scrambling over loose rocks, so come prepared. The views are definitely worth it!
Also there are some very deep ruts on Washington Gulch road, you will need a high clearance vehicle for. I took my X5 and made it just fine, although there were some intense parts.

Easy hike with underrated views.

Great workout, Beautiful Trail

Beautiful sunny and warm day. The views are just the best along the stream with 13,500 ft mts on either side of you. Quarter of the aspen trees had turned yellow. The trail is very much open to the sunshine and views of the mountains. As you head in on the trail, you have more pines along the route. The trail takes the hiker to high pines and steep incline compared to the trail before it. At this point the hiker will be at around 10,800 ft . Had no idea there was a lake if I continued. I was tired and turned back. Maybe I will come back next year and go see the lake.

Great hike two for one Judd Falls & Copper Lake.

I hiked this Trail on August 4th. It's a scenic trail with lots of great views. I started on the Gothic side of the trail which apparently is harder as it's mostly uphill but the views were great. I didn't see too many people along the way which was nice. The wildflowers were absolutely stunning!

The trail is big kid friendly (5+). I hiked it with my two year old and had to carry him across the river and a few other times because of mud and tree roots. Wasn't a huge hassle to carry him because he liked to take breaks from walking. Lots of photo opportunities and a nice waterfall to cool off in.

I loved this hike! Gorgeous views. The steep forest incline gives way to a quintessential Colorado mountain lake, where my dog caught a salmon!

Great trail for kids. We did this one with a little on in a pack and two preschoolers. The falls are beautiful with a little bench/overlook area. We will do this one again.

You have to go .6 to Judd Falls so take that mileage into account. The lake is amazing! The last 1.5 is quiet rough, very rocky and uphill but it's really only that last bit that is uphill.

Greate family trail

Nice, kid-friendly hike. Views of the falls are good, and there are a few informative signs along the way. Quite a few 4wd vehicles and a couple mountain bikers to be aware of in the beginning of the trail.

Love this hike. You can keep it short & super easy just going to the falls ... or a little further to the first river crossing. You can keep going and cross more rivers giving you more adventure. It's perfect for families who may want to start easy, but add on if the kids are doing well. Very beautiful.

Best wildflowers! So beautiful. Vistas are amazing.

Fun hike. Lots of rock climbing

Beautiful all around views. Better to double back when you get to the end of the lake. We didn't see the point of the return route along the road for quite a distance.

Nothing special but easy quick hike

Don't believe the sign at the upper parking trail head. It says 4, but it's almost 5 miles. And the last mile is over 800 feet of elevation..

It's a good day hike, but just be prepared for that last 45 minute push.

But it's worth it when you finally get there.

From the bottom parking lot, the full hike is closer to 11 miles.

Gorgeous trail. We went last year and the wildflowers were beautiful. My husband and I hiked it. In case you are a first timer like us- do note there are a lot of bikers on the trail. With it being such a narrow trail, we had to move out of their way which became a little bit of a pain because we also had our dog, but still well worth the beautiful hike.

Hiked this trail from the Gothic side and it was straight up, or felt like it but the views were amazing and the sunflowers were in full bloom and plentiful. Definitely an amazing hike.

BEYOND beautiful hike! Good parking, challenging workout and jaw dropping views. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Nice hike through the town of Gothic. Make sure you stop in Gothic and check out the visitor center. The falls were beautiful.
