We are beginning mountain bikers. I would say this is rated as difficult for biking. Trails are single track mostly, lots of loose rocks, and sandy in addition to tight turns and inclines.

We hiked it after trying bikes but turning back and putting them away in the car. Good hike, got the heart rate up and had lots of views. tons of deer. Nearby pit toilet was clean.

Short hike with some steep parts to nice views of Yampa Valley, including Craig, Bears Ears and more. Best in the morning before the wind picks up.

Was pretty muddy but fun for the sunset!

Easy walk and a nice view. We saw plenty of wildlife including fox and mule deer.

In my Ford F150 4x4 I drove past the snowmobile drop off area, and that's where things went bad. When it says 'the trail is only accessible from', pay attention. As I drove up a long, curvy section of the service road my four wheel drive lost traction and I bottomed out. After digging out my tires and making tracks to allow my wheels the chance to gather momentum I drove in reverse all the way back to the snowmobile parking lot. I guess I'll have to wait till June to tackle this trail. Along the way I saw multiple elk herds and mule deer a plenty.
