I think I found a new go-to. Really enjoyed this hike. Took ravens roost to eagles view and down eagles view to ravens roost. Challenging in the beginning. Great leg and butt workout especially when you are carrying a 15lb dog hahaa. Great views along the way up and top.

Loved the hike went on Mother’s Day. Very light traffic and easy to navigate would definitely do it again.

Nice short hike not far from Denver. Steady climb the first two miles with some nice views at about 2.5 miles. Mostly forest with a few stream crossings. Saw other hikers but surprisingly not too crowded for a beautiful Mother's Day Sunday.

Extremely well kept trail and easy year round. Can be completed in easily in around 20 minutes and definitely great for children. Colorado Parks and Wildlife offer these tank like wheelchairs for anyone with disabilities and the elderly. I tend to fish the ponds when I get the chance, there are stocked rainbow trout usually around 10-12 inches in size as well as some brook trout but those don’t get very big. The ponds are great for ice fishing in January and February but definitely make sure you carry a fishing license year round if you do decide to give the ponds a shot as they frequently check for licenses. Definitely a good place to try if you have kids, I personally use rooster tails but I know for a fact that they absolutely love power bait and will usually hit it ever cast. I have never had a bad experience and am constantly recommending it to my friends and anyone who’s looking for a place to take their kids fishing.

Nice trail. No breathtaking vistas but complete solitude and quiet. Hiked yesterday, a Saturday, and saw one person. Hiked 4.5 miles in and came back. Good steady incline. Lots of rocks so wear good shoes and bring trekking poles.

No enterance fee to the park. Bathroom at the trail head (very clean). Trail is very steep going up. Very pretty hike, very woodsy. No ice, no snow, no mudd. Once you reach the top you have full view of what I consider a Bob Ross painting of happy little trees

So good. Guaranteed tired & happy dogs. Bring lots of water, but great little water spots for the pups.

Beautiful clean trails . Good for dogs! Amazing view at the top . Will bring my hammock to chill at the top next time . All the people I encountered were super nice too.

Group hike on Friday morning was really good. Snow and slush on shaded parts of trail but not bad. Views from top were great! Saw a group of deer. Will definitely go again during summer.

Great hike! I went early on a Monday morning, I didn’t see anyone until about three hours into the hike. Gradual incline to the beginning of the Mount Evans Wilderness Area, about five miles in. Some beautiful views in the more exposed areas, lots of tall trees and shade during most of the hike. Some rocky areas with some snow as of 4/30.

Great trail with a really good view from the top. Fairly easy hike, decent climb in the beginning. Still a little snow on the trail but normal hiking shoes no problem.

Great exercise and gorgeous views once you get to the “eagles view” lookout. Awesome, well marked path though I would recommend keeping a map on you to navigate— easy to do with the map they provide at the trailhead. Steady, significant incline for first half— great workout! No traction issues and no snow. Easy to get to using directions from alltrails. I highly recommend!

Trail conditions: mostly dry and muddy in spots. The aspens are still bare but spring is in the air and they should be glittering in no time.

Quiet and secluded trail for a Sunday. Hiked a total of 4 miles and was on the trail for about 2 hours. Saw maybe 3 people. Not sure I would rate as moderate. Mostly easy and moderate in spots.

Great trail when you’re looking to get a quick hike in. Has its steep parts but its totally manageable and the views are very nice!

Beautiful views! Moderate difficulty but definitely worth the hike.

Intensity is towards the higher end of Moderate maybe even Hard for the first half of the loop up Ravens Roost. The incline really kicked my ass. The intensity drops to Easy on the way back. Nice views but I enjoy a more consistent difficulty throughout a hike. Basically no snow or ice. Somewhat busy trail.

Came down from Evergreen. Fantastic hike. Trail in great condition. Awesome views at the top.

Not a ton of people on the trail even during the middle of the day on a Sunday. Well maintained trail and good for trail running.

Good trail to get your hiking legs in shape early season did it early April still had snow / ice in patches trail is in good shape through ski hill loop.

The views looking south towards the Cathedral Spires make this hike worth while. Steep incline wide road like trail to begin on Ravens roost. Then rest of way is mostly snow or mud single track through forest. Calming but nothing compared to the eventual view 1/2 way through the loop.

Beautiful finale on the back side of the mountain when you reach the top! Both trails are pretty steep so be ready for a workout! The Oxen Drive part of the trail was very snowy/icy, I didn't use any extra traction but it would have definitely made those portions easier and some parts are a bit muddy but not bad! Good sized parking lot with bathrooms and there are some picnic areas as well!

Great, easy terrain, a little slushy coming down the steeper side in the shade. Lovely views up top!

Beautiful......got caught in a hailstorm up here....very little cover......bad spot to be caught out in a thunderstorm!

Loved this trail. The hike up was steep but the views were amazing!

Trail is in great shape! A couple slick/icy spots deeper in the trees. Had a great work-out on the way up to the top. Saw several folks, but plenty alone time in between. Lots of dogs. Great day!

Beautiful view at the summit! This was my first time to Meyers Ranch and I wouldn't want to do it without going to the top of Legault. It is the best view. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find the trail to the summit with the snow. But I just followed some footsteps. Had spikes on my boots and definitely needed them. Very wet and a bit slick as it has been warm all week and the snow was very melty. Boots and bottom of pants very wet but worth it. The extra hike to the summit made the whole hike worth it.

This was a fun trail. Steady incline on the first bit. You will come to a part that looks like a washed out road with dead trees in the middle and to the right of that is the continued Colorado trail. You will take the washed out one for the Raleigh Peak trail. There should a large arrow of rocks pointing you to go that way. It also has a steady incline after getting on that. It started to get really cloudy and windy so we turned around.

Did this hike today. A lot of packed snow made it a little more strenuous but not icy. View from top is amazing & the hike itself is enjoyable and peaceful. Ran into 2 other people.
