Lots of people, but worth it because beautiful and unique rock formations. Make the trip if in the area. And it’s free.

Gorgeous! And easy with kiddos.

And easy, touristy place to take out-of- town family. The formations always make for fun pictures

Widened private path tucked behind Stetson Hills neighborhood easily accessible in town. Stroller friendly. Somewhat sketchy under bridges and minimal shade; bring hat and lots of water. Happy hiking!

Beautiful views and rock formations. This was our first time in this area of Colorado. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and visited here twice in 3 days. We walked/hiked the first time. It was easy and a nice opportunity to get acclimated to the higher elevation. Second time we drove around. Great view of Pike’s Peak can be found at the parking lot near Ridge Road.

Great for young kids! Sunny paved trail. We explore the creek and love finding all different plants, flowers, and insects. All types of birds are present too including ducks. Found a snake shed on one of the rock outcropping as well! Great easy stroll.

nice trail but you definitely need the map to know which way to go at the many forks

Beautiful picturesque with great photos ops! Fairly easy - mostly paved. Get there early to beat the heat and crowds

As far as hikes go, this was super easy and about a quarter of it was on paved walkways. Good leisurely walk to get lots of great photos of the amazing rock formations. I recommend getting there early and heading clockwise to get you through the heavily trafficked areas first before the crowds show up. The latter 3/4 of the route is all easy trail with much less traffic.

It was more walk than a hike. We were stopping and taking photos so frequently. And it was pretty hot as well.

Easy. Just a simple trail- not much to see but easy for a quick walk or a longer stroll. Great for everyday!

Visited back in early December. Busy area and more of a walk then a hike but it is truly stunning. Quite a busy area so best to get there early.

A bit confusing at times but I used the app as our trail map. My kids loved it and we will back!

Absolutely breath taking.

Well, what a disappointment, I’ve been wandering around this neighborhood for a few minutes trying to find a trail entrance only to realize it’s not a trail it’s a Street in the city. It is a nice neighborhood, but it certainly not anything like a trail. Don’t waste your time.

I started from the north parking lot and went through the inside/middle area to get some quick shots of the formations, then went to the outside trail (non-paved one) to complete the loop. I included the Rocks and Vistas Garden Loop + Garden of the Gods Loop + Siamese Twins Loop within my hike. There wasn't many people on a Tuesday morning due to the high winds and snow so it was fairly empty. A great trail overall but definitely more of a touristy/nature style walk/hike instead of an actual hike. Also, on the outer loop where horses are used there is a lot of poop on the trails.

Good for an in town stroll. Not much to see. Very easy.

Easy trail if you stick to the formation area; it’s all paved. Going to the actual trail is a little more like a real hike instead of a stroll. Trail is still very easy, even if you do the four mile loop. More of a nature walk than a hike; if you are looking for a hike or something remotely challenging look elsewhere. Views are beautiful though!

Nice, fun loop. You can really make it your own as it has alot of other trails surrounding it. We didn't do the whole loop this time as the parking lots near it were at capacity so we ended up on the other side of the park. We did this trail on a Sunday morning, alot of people and cars if possible go on a weekday.

Super pretty!!! It’s really fun to hike around or drive around. Lots of different trails with views of rocks and mountains.

Good for family. There is a little area kids can play on the rocks. Great for some family photos to.

Very beautiful. Easy terrain. Limited parking.

Fun. Ended up being quicker than we thought (30 min).

Parked and hiked a bit, walked back and drove to the next parking spot. Hiked a bit again. Gorgeous, paved trails.

Combination of paved and gravel trails surrounding and through the park and gorgeous rock formations. Not terribly crowded on a chilly February morning, but the views would be worth a visit even in the busier summer months.

trail running

Starts out paved near Sky Sox stadium, moves to packed dirt north of Stetson Hills. Tunnel underneath Dublin tends to have some water over trail, not too deep unless there’s been rain...Trail continues all the way to Woodmen...elevation change is a pretty steady climb! I run this 2-3 times per week, it’s never been overly busy!

Good walking trail with lots of side trails. I'll be back in the Spring & Summer to enjoy the scenery.
