simple and easy

If you think it’s just a sidewalk, you’re doing it wrong.

This was a nice flat hike, very easy. OK view since it's residential properties' backyard area.

Close to home with great views on top of the rock.

Very pretty creek side trail. We did K to L I think (versus the dam trail). Lots of families out and dogs. Creek was mostly frozen. Tim likes the east side, but it was closed for the season. Park at the farthest lot instead of near the visitor center. $7 day pass. $70 for an annual pass.

This one was fun! We saw some kids climbing up the rocks to the very top, so we followed. It was well worth it! To get to the very top you have to climb some rocks. It wasn’t as hard as it looked, but may be a little scary for people afraid of heights and a little difficult for the elderly. Overall it was great!

This is our neighborhood trail and I feel so lucky! Beautiful, easy trail for leisurely walking and relaxing.

those that think this is a suburban sidewalk are starting on the wrong end!! the west access IS a sidewalk...but if you had hiked all the way east you would have found a beautiful and interesting hike with beautiful views. Start on the east end (skip Chuck's Loop or add it to the end) and head west watching for the trail markers..if you make it to the west end sidewalk turn around immediately and head back!

Short sweet walk on a beautiful sunny day,

Beautiful view!

This is not consider as a hiking trail but you can definitely get some good workout done. Safer than Manitou Incline for sure.. Heavy traffic though!

The stairs are amazing!

Easy stroll with an ok view

Castlewood Canyon Trail can be as long as 7 miles full loop. It’s beautiful and good hike in Autumn to
Springtime. Summer can be hot and muggy.

Not too much of a challenge but beautiful views and wildlife.

My go to trail, good views and great for running,

Great trail for wheelchair

Love these 200 steps! Kids love it too, and it gets easier every time. Pretty 360 view at the top and cat-track trail to take down if you don't feel like going down the stairs.
