Did this hike by accident and WOW im glad i did! Moderate for a coloridian, difficult for a midwesterner like me. Absolutely stunning the way up, both the path and the view of the collegiate mountains. When you reach the top, theres a wooden pole and small plastic box to write your name in. Just a treasure of a trail.

Great views over Buena Vista.

up rppto onwtp our own orI on it op pro op ok the roadit I otop oops that was oo to do too tpp

ok, I clicked on directions and it took us to a trailhead but nowhere did it say Doorman's Delight Trail. We ended up hiking a trail listed as 6.2 miles called Gentleman's Half Loop which was not marked on the trail...at all and was less than 6 miles. The trail is great though, easy rolling terrain. Not much tree cover but a few shady spots. Popular with mountain bikers.

Tried to do this hike today.... walking down the trail for five minutes...... Someone hit me with their bike and knocked me off of the trail and over the side... glad that tree was there to stop us from rolling down any further :(

Simple, easygoing trail with great views of the collegiate peaks and the town of Buena Vista. Great trail for a midday walk or run if you want more exercise.

The town of Buena Vista is so sweet and welcoming. You can walk by the Arkansas River and make your way up to the high point of Midland Hill while viewing the majestic Collegiate Peaks. This was moderately strenuous but definitely doable for an energized morning jaunt.

Great views of the Collegiate Peaks and Browns Canyon. During spring to fall high season there are a lot of ATV's that use this trail. Suggest hiking in winter or not during weekends to stay away from the traffic.

Dramatic views from the peak of Midland Hill. Watch out for bikes on the lower portion.

It's a beautiful trail although kind of short. If your looking for something close to the river and secluded, then this is the place!

Traverse from Columbia to Harvard was a bear! Took our family almost 4.5 hours including some class three scrambles...no well defined trail through boulder field from Columbia to just past the rabbit ears...in the future I would definitely drop a couple hundred feet to the green valley and then headed up an easy slope toward trail along ridge below Harvard summit...we could have shaved hours off our traverse!

Long hike with multiple false summits...scramble through rock field to summit. No visible trail after treeline. Very secluded route...long and easy.
