Nice trail. Watch the signs

Really a walk, not a hike. Bob stroller friendly.

loved this trail. lake and mountain views all around.

This is a fun trail to go on with kids. No climbing involved and is very easy relaxed hike. We found wild garlic growing and this trail is awesome if you start at the North Boulder Recreation Center and circle all the way back. There are places to dip your toes in the water but we need to come when the sun is up otherwise it can get cold

Don’t make the dummy mistake that I did and pay an entrance fee! Half the “trail” is a back dirt road, with little to no shoulder to walk on, the other half is trail, with lots of smaller trails that allow you to wander. Worth a visit, definitely a decent distance walk. Lots of prairie dogs and wild flowers along the way!

Very pretty. Easy hike. Would be very enjoyable with a bike. Lots of pretty flowers. Bring bug spray. Lots of mosquitos and biting bugs. I was not prepared.

This is a nice flat trail, good for an easy-going hike or trail run. Some of the nice features of this trail include easy access to South Boulder Creek along most of the trail, views of the Flatirons, and wildflowers in the summer. On a Sunday afternoon on a nice summer day, it wasn't terribly crowded. A couple of remarks about the trail's description - I would say that it doesn't really feature a lake, the Baseline Reservoir is not easily viewed, although there are a couple of small ponds near the East Boulder Community Center. Secondly, this is mostly an out and back trail, the only loop is around the Community Center ponds.

I've only used the bike trails but it's a good time. If I'm bored on a Saturday afternoon it's a good way to work up a sweat by biking on the trails.

About half the loop is trail and the other half is dirt road. Only run this loop clockwise or you will have to pay an entrance fee at the marina; clockwise you enter the marina from the rear where there is no gate. Only recommended if you just need a run and don’t want to go far. There are so many better options within 10-15 mins of here.

This is a really nice trail if you're looking for a relaxing walk or hike. Paved and gravel paths are often used by cyclists, but a dirt path runs along a creek for walkers and trail runners. It's a popular trail for families with young kids or people with their dogs, but it never feels overly crowded. In spite of being on the east side of town, you still get nice views of the Flatirons along the way. The parking lot on Baseline is pretty small and fills up quickly, but if you park at the East Boulder Rec/Community Center, you can connect to the Bobolink Trail.

Tons of off leash dogs. Pretty trail otherwise.

Nice trail run or hike on biking prohibited days. Saw some wildlife and had a great 4 mile hike!

This is a beautiful trail! It is easily made into a 3.3 mile loop, if you cut off the Benjamin Loop section. If there is a lake, I have never seen it, and I have been there many times to hike or mountain bike. If you want to hike or trail run, go there Wednesday or Saturday, when mountain biking is prohibited.

Quiet and not too busy. Trail well maintained and very beautiful!

Fresh and clean open trails along the base of the foothills to wonderland lake. There are a few trails going up into the hills and along a ridge higher up. Those trails are well maintained on the southern end but the northern loops shown on the map are much less used, overgrown and hard to follow so be careful. Overall an awesome new trail running spot in Boulder.

Lovely trail, but the mosquitos are aggressive. There were times when I had more than 10 swarming around me!

I agree, more interesting on bike but there is definitely area to walk :) the north end has a narrow private trail that leads a little farther north and turns to paved sidewalk but it ends abruptly.

Nice!!!

96 degrees super hot day! Although 70% of trail or so was shade and it helps. This trail was an extension of Super Betasso. Lots of runners but since no bikes on Wednesday and Saturday, it was nice without the bikers today. Cozy trails, views are ok.

Definitely one of my favorite hikes. The creek at the end was so worth it. Views were great and the trail wasn’t extremely steep at any point but still had great fluctuation in elevation.

Boulder Reservoir does not let people in the front gate for free and especially not with dogs!! Tip: go the back way (clockwise) and it's a great, free waterside walk. They might lecture you if you take a dog on the south shore.

There's plenty of places to hike around this area which is nice. Only downside for me is that dogs aren't allowed to swim in the reservoir.

we were trail training our rescue's and they got to see alot of bikes and people very busy . Will come back on a saturday.

Great 1st hike of the season, especially if you're not in shape because of a soft couch all winter. Bike people very respectful of walkers. Had no problems. Went on a Sunday. Good split of shade and sun.

Nice easy walk around a lake at the center of a super cute neighborhood. Did this with our parents who aren’t hikers. Lovely area for a walk! Water is crystal clear. Went on a Saturday and watched paragliders taking off from the mountains behind the lake!

If you’re a hiker, I don’t recommend this trail unless it’s Wednesday or Saturday. Hike took hours longer than it should have because I was yielding to fast, unattentive bikers ( it should have been the other way around ). I was almost hit twice and slipped and fell on my ass once when a bike came around a corner so fast and quietly I had to jump off trail.
