Must see if your in the area.

Very interesting place to visit. My family had a great time exploring

Great beginners area to hike, be aware that the fire tower is currently closed, I did not see any signs calling this out until I got to the fire tower.

Climb as high as you want but don't look down. The castle is beautiful and Mr. Bishop is there to tell you what he thinks about the state of America. Breathtaking.

Not to hard a hike. The Outlook is amazing. A little steep at the end but worth it. Devil's canyon is beautiful.

fun castle!

The trail starts off at Davenport campground. The first half of the trail is nice and smooth. About halfway it gets very rocky! Currently, the creek is dried up.

There is no hiking here, but the castle is simply amazing. Especially considering only one person built this over 50 years. Make this a priority to do if you were in this area and make sure you donate to this castle because it would be a shame if this place closed down.

Great trails. Just continue past the dead end sign and pick the trail back up. We love our SoCo trails, quiet and clean. A nice change from trails up north. Please keep it that way. Have respect for nature and fellow hikers.

Great trails. Enough options to take different trails as you go. There is an area where the map appears to show a continuous trail for Devils Canyon but then you’ll see a sign that says dead end. If you keep hiking up the gorge, however, you’ll pick back up and continue on to the rest of the trail to loop back to Mace trail.

I suggest taking the Tower Trail to the Fire Tower! You get to climb the tower and get a great 360 view. After the fire tower I would take Mace Trail to Lookout point so you can see the canyon instead of doing Devils Canyon, which in my opinion isn’t as great as the trails suggested above.

The trail to Devil's Canyon can be a little bit misleading, on the trail map it shows that it connects to another Trail but at the trailhead there is a sign that points to the direction of Devil's Canyon Trail but says it's a dead in, so it can be a little confusing. Beautiful Trail would love to hike it again would recommend it it's amazing!

Bishop castle is an amazing place to visit.

If you're within 50 miles of this and you don't go here you're missing out. I don't know that you'll find a castle as cool as this one anywhere in the country. Did a mention it's free. Oh and you can sleep in it over night, free. If your afraid which most people are just sit at the bottom or talk to the guy in the gift shop. Put a five dollar bill in the donation thing for giving your family a much more entertaining experience for much cheaper than any amusement park or mount Rushmore ever could.

Fantastic views. Hardly no people in the trails, very clean trails. Southern Colorado trails are a hidden gem.

Great area! way more trails than are shown here, lots of opportunities for loops and access to the greater national forest. Not much for water out there so pack in pletnty. The north ridge trail is not very shaded, most of the other trails are okay for warm days though.

Fun if you have never been

This is NOT a hike. Even so, I am glad it popped up on this app bc I never would have found it otherwise.

Bishop castle is a man made castle in the middle of San Isabel National Forest. It is AMAZING. If you're looking for something unique and magical, this is it. One man built the structure all by himself and it is wildly impressive.

Nice area lots of trails. Green, and the area has lots to offer for picnics or relaxing.

I love heights so I adored exploring every bit of the castle. It's the perfect place for an adventure, and the drive there is beautiful. I don't recommend it for small children, because it wouldn't be as enjoyable. It was pretty windy, and I've heard it almost always is.
