Snowy for most of the trail this December. Wish I had brought my trekking poles. Beautiful sights from the top. Saw only two other folks.

Really awesome trail! Did it as a sunrise hike and had a super awesome view! Little icy and snow packed at parts. If it snows anymore, might want to take hiking poles for the way down. Fun scramble at the end to get to the top!

Drove this on 11/25/18 with the Larimer County Mountaineers 4x4 Club. We had over 30 off-road vehicles in our group. Great fun with lots of early season snow and decent puddles. One hill about halfway through had some ice and a number of vehicles had to be pulled up with a winch. Went fine if you aired down your tires and kept your momentum up. Can make a nice loop back to Rustic and for that reason this is a nice day trip, not too difficult.

A good mellow hike with not much uphill. Good conditions today with moderate snow and some ice underneath . Slightly disappointed there was no viewing area at the top... other than that - had a great time!

Nice trail

Always a great quick one or make it a long 4 hour loop! Love the climbing routes throughout. Fun hike!

This is a great trail run. Very steep, so I did a lot of hiking as it got rockier closer to the top. A very easy run down. The only problem I had was being chased by 2 dogs off leash. Their owners quickly got them under control but it was a little frightening. Beautiful views from the top. Perfect weather for a trail run!

Nothing fancy, I kept thinking "Wow! I bet this area was gorgeous before the fire!", which was a bit of a let down. Because very little of it was really that pretty compared to other nearby areas. I would say keep in mind it's a "Gulch" not a Mountain, Rock, or Peak. Worth the exercise if you stay left and go up the "moderate" way.

Did loop hike starting out at Arthur's Rock trail head going up trail to summit of Arthur's Rock, then coming back by way of Howard Trail and Mill Creek Link. Total distance 4.7 miles. Very scenic with views of Horse Tooth Reservoir and Ft. Collins. Weather was great. I would rate the trail as moderate rather than hard. Top of Arthur's Rock is roomy for people to relax.

Loved this trail. I would not classify it as hard my 4 yr old had no problems. It was a nice trail. Would def do it again

moderately hard with an awesome view!

First half mile is the toughest, good scenery. Crystal Mountain Trail (at the end of Moody) is closed, but the Private Road back to Buckhorn gets you back without backtracking.

Great hike! Great view on horsetooth reservoir!

10-4-18 trail is blocked by a couple big trees that have fallen down. also right after the entrance somebody shot skeet and didnt bother to pick up at least 20 to 30 bright yellow shotgun shells. classy... :(

A very misty morning hiked around 9:30 and saw 3 bear cubs.about 3/4 way up to top of trail. This trail is rated hard. The elevation and rocky trail makes it challenging but I wouldn’t say it was hard because you climb a little then it levels out . Definitely would do again on clear day and bring bear spray!

Great trail. Started from Jack's campground following the trail along the creek. We made it a circuit by returning on old flowers trail and road to make it a 10.6 mile trek. Lots of water for the dogs.

Beautiful hike!! It was long and got rough near the end, but the lake and cirque views are worth it!

Ended up on this trail when planning to traverse Mount McConnell. Glad we did because we wouldn’t have easily made Mount McConnell with our time constraints!

Beautiful hike with great views from the top. Wouldn't personally rate this hike as "hard" or "difficult" but definitely a nice climb...

(Bring Yaktrax if the trail is snow/ice covered)

Up to Cirque Meadows is very easy. The aspens are changed, making much of the path very colourful.
We were confused at first about the marked campsites which are farther up the trail past the meadow-the sites were nice, site 3 has a good view.
The rest of the way was tougher, and some places we lost the trail as it wound up the boulders.
The end views are breathtaking, and great photo opportunities. I plan on going again in June when the wildflowers are bloomed.

This trail is scenic enough, but nothing too special. There is a good deal of tall grass around. No very appealing views, there is a lot of burnt matter throughout.

Beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing color! It was a little confusing on where to go sometimes, so download the map if you can! Follow any arrows you see on the trees as well.

Nice trail if you're in Ft. Collins area. It's pretty nice when you get to the top, with some cool rocks to walk on.

it was fun until the road got to steep. I tried to do this in a can am 850 outlander but didn't make it to the end. ended up rolling the atv. it was still fun.

Short and sweet! Couldn’t recommend it more. The views of Horsetooth and Fort Collins are really something. Bring water, it’s a climb!

Waaay too crowded. Saw a guy who thought it was cool to bring his gun to the reservoir. Motorboats are a big distraction if you’re looking for some peaceful nature. Again, the gun didn’t help things.

A really nice trail. We started from Jacks Gulch Campground and wound our way down to the junction w Fish Creek Trail, then a long steady climb up to Beaver Park. Kept dog close since it definitely looked like mountain lion country. Came back via Flowers Trail/Road. Don’t miss the monument to the B17 crew at the end of the Flowers Road before it turns to trail only. Nice remembrance to those that died in the crash. The actual plane crash is located on the Stormy Peaks trail.

A bit difficult going uphill on the bike unless you're good with super technical / steep climbs. Down hill was a blast tho. Only saw a couple other bikes on the trail, but it was a Monday morning so..
