This lake is a great spot for fishing and a long beautiful walk around a large lake.

Love this trail. Some hills, some flatness, great views, lots of wildlife and cyclists (watch out for them-most are very polite). Not much shade. Great trail to train on.

Like some of the other reviewers have pointed out, don’t go here if you are looking for a hike. But, if you’re looking for a great 5k trail run on a nicely kept gravel path this place is perfect. I live nearby and run here often with my dog. Be sure to check out the smaller food paths down to the creek, and check out he nature center too!

Only a 16 mile ride if you ride on the designated bike route along 470. Otherwise, Piney Creek Trail is only 4.3 miles long.

Super beautiful!!!!

This is a great short walk right by the airport. The landscape is beautiful.

Great hike on a Thursday afternoon.
Not many people on the trail.

We love the off leash dog park!

It’s a great place to walk the dogs ! Just a reminder though that snakes are active. I mistakenly let my dog off the leash and as we got closer to the high line canal trail a huge rattle snake was just sitting there in the sun. Luckily I had enough time to tell to my dog and she was not bitten. Just beware!

would not recommend

It's like... a path to get from one place to another place without having to walk on the street. Really boring for a hiker. It's a path you'd run, or walk your dog if you live nearby, or ride your bike to go somewhere kind of a place. Which is fine, but don't expect a "hike" or too much to look at. (also, lots of sun, so dress accordingly)

I love the Cherry Creek Ecological Park. It’s a beautiful place to take my dog on a walk.

If you want to be harassed by asshole cyclist, this is your place! I am a considerate trail walker with my dog and make sure she stays out of their way and I still get mumbles under the breath and rude comments while walking this trail. Honestly, I love the trail, when cyclist AREN’T on it!

Yuck! Bugs everywhere! Doesn’t seem to be in a great part of town ether. Water was also gross.

It is a decent park. Looks like it would be fun to paddle board there, and they have lots of stations for grilling. I have been to better maintained parks in Colorado. Lots of bike riders. If you need to get outside, it is a decent outing.

This trail is our go to bike trail because it is close enough to bike to from home and not too long for my kiddos. as others have stated it is not a full loop. More specifically: when you get towards the northeat side you leave Quincy Reservoir through a spinning metal gate. You 'can' put bikes through here by dismounting and rolling them through upright on the back tires. We have a trailer for the littles and we got it through but had to take them out and detatch it from the bike. then you have to ride/walk along Quincy Ave which is fairly steep to get back up to the parking area. I much prefer the out and back path due to this. Also note this is only open March-October. You also have to pay to park there or buy a season pass. I would recommend it for people nearby who can walk/ride in, or for fishing.

It goes from residential area to Cherry Creek State Park. Nice clean hike, lots of bicyclers. Boring as a hike but nice trails for running.

Nice paved trail and dog friendly

Fun and easy trail to access

Enjoyed the 60degree blue sky day December 9,2017. Saw a Bald Eagle and several deer. Nice easy stroll for 8 plus miles!!

Great suburban trail with miles in natural preserves and along the creek. All concrete. It actually runs about 10 miles from the cherry creek trail to its end east of E-470. All concrete and perfect for family bike rides or a morning run.

Lots of concrete and mostly flat. Some good dirt tracks into the trees and through the grass. Nice views of the “lake” and surrounding creeks & swamps. Perfect for locals. Not really worth driving out of the way.

This trail is ok but nothing special. I’ve walked it and biked it multiple times because it’s close to home. If you’re close and looking to get some exercise, it’s fine. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to experience it.

Best part easily near Star K Ranch Nature Preserve.

Easy road biking trail, nice views, not much traffic at certain times of the evening or certain times of the year out of peak season.
