Great trail nothing too crazy for ya! Just be sure to keep your eyes on the trail as I ran across a few snakes. Great trail, solid workout.

Great little mid-week out and back hike. The parking situation was a little confusing, we ended up asking if we could park along someone’s fence. They were ok with it so worked out well. We were also warned of mountain lions and bears, but after doing more research seems like sightings are rare. It was a gradual incline to the top, there’s not a clear ‘summit’. So we ended up walking along the ridge which gave us more mileage. But don’t expect a ‘you’ve arrived’ sign. Overall a nice hike, pretty easy and straight forward. Worked out well because we stopped for cider doughnuts and hot apple cider at snow line orchards which is close to the trail head.

nice trail. decent to good workout 4 me. easy 2 follow.

I found it on complete accident by just climbing up random hills then I saw the actual trail you are supposed to take to get up there and it just looks like a overly stretched out hike that could have been half the distance if they just made people have to climb a little steeper

Cool little way to take into the crafton hills you have to walk by a large house where this one creepy dude always storms into his back yard as if it makes a difference in any way as if he actually needs to be threatening lol it’s pretty humorous but it’s kinda annoying when you have kids and they always see some weirdo acting like we’re bad people when he is the one who bought a million dollar house with a trail going through the back yard. Other than that it’s a great scenic walk.

This shouldn’t be rated as hard. I guess it might be if you never hiked before but still I wouldn’t think it’s that strenuous at all. All in all great way to get out and a fine route down to farmer bros for lunch. Easy/Moderate

I started from the Oak Glen side. easy parking if you get there early, and because it's next to Los Rios Ranch, there are restrooms and you can do a little shopping and eating while you're there. the trail is beautiful and easy to start, then starts to climb quickly and get pretty difficult. the views at the top are amazing, and the weather is much cooler than down the hill in the city.

the map here shows a very long option, but you can easily go up as high as you feel and turn back when you want.

Great views on a clear day. A little dry in summer. Bring plenty of water and sunblock. Other hikers and bikers very polite. Looks like there are options to connect to a few different loops. Looking forward to exploring some more.

Love Oak Glen Preserve. Especially beautiful in the spring. There is plenty of shade. There are some small lakes and lots of trees. There are easy trails to walk and others that are moderate so you can adjust the hike to what you want. The last time we went was the middle of August. There were some beautiful sunflowers in bloom. In the spring there are lots of different flowers. Highly recommend. Great place for the whole family.
Can get pretty hot in the summer so get there early in the day.

Great hiking trail. Cool in late August, for morning walks. Beautiful scenery, majestic mountains and lots of shade. The paths are wide and well maintained. There is steep portion going down and then back up to parking lot of Los Rios Ranch, but there is a bypass before it gets too steep. It's quiet most of the way with birds chirping and the stream running next to the trail. Raspberry abounds and trees overhanging the trail as a canopy are welcome as the sun heats the area. I recommend this as a favorite trail so far on my hiking experiences.

great spot to find some mushrooms when the weather is right. cute spot to hike, lots of people take their horses here

This is a great trail, it does have some uphill challenges but really not to bad. its peacful and doesn't take too long. There are plenty of other hikers and bikes along the trail.

We didn't make it all the way before we turned around, but almost. it's a great hike, not very difficult. We only saw a couple other hikers the whole time. Planning on doing it again and going the whole way.

I started this around 6pm and was in the shade the whole time which was nice. Single track, many flat portions. The beginning of this hike is not so great for the first 10 minutes as you walk by some construction and very soft dirt. The beginning of the fort trail past the construction was not super obvious.. After that it’s great. The last 50 feet or so are pretty steep to get to the top.

Super easy hike. A beautiful view of the valley and a beautiful walk through the canyon lots of shade and green plants. Hiked it in early July starting temp 95 ended temp 85.

I very much enjoyed this trail. Not much shade so go early. Lots of bees and butterflies, lots of indigenous plants. Great smells and no trash. Most trails are wide but I ventured out on some less traveled and found it rewarding. I saw two deer, one coyote, and one small snake.

Good trail, path could be a little confusing but luckily for us we had someone there with previous experience to guide us. Not very much water at all this time of year but still little streams. Although it was an awesome trail it’s probably a lot better in the colder months. Make sure to bring lots of water and maybe some bug repellent. Overall a good experience.

Love this hike!! Try and go twice a week. My once good friend showed me this place and it’s wonderful!! Many different ways you can take. Always some what of a challenge, what I need. Saw a rattlesnake for the first time today. Best to go early.

Beautiful flowers. Only fishing pond had water. Nice hike!

It's a nice scenic Trail that rises up through a Canyon and ends within walking distance of a nice restaurant in Angeles Oaks. I can see hikers and bikers on the trail. Good for all ages. moderate. Always carry water

Not really a mountain biking trail. Wide trails probably ideal for horseback or walking. Couldn’t find any exciting areas for biking. Not likely to head back for biking.

Good mountain bike trail. Pretty easy to follow and it was clear when I went the wrong way so I just had to turn back. Links up at the top of the mountain with a couple other trails headed toward Crafton College but I turned back. Only a couple technical spots depending on which line you take coming down the hill.

Good trail for mountain biking. Single track for the most part. Looked like there was several trails but I went with the one closest to Crafton College and followed it up the mountain. Only came across one other rider on a straight away which helped because it could be a problem on some of the sharp curves.

Nice hike. Very narrow trail but good workout. Lots of lizards

Hike it every Monday with a Meetup group. There is always shade after the 1st mile after 5:00pm.

This is always a nice little hike with the kiddos.
