Short but challenging hike. Great hills.

Pretty good hike that can take 1-2 hours to finish. Definitely want to go in spring when the hills are green. Everything is dead during the summer.

$5 cash to park (you need exact amount)

I saw a rattlesnake, lizards, squirrels, and birds!

Very clean trails.

Not much shade on the trails so bring hat and sunscreen.

Telegraph is mostly flat ground or a very slight incline.

There is a portable bathroom at the end of telegraph trail! Also there are bathrooms next to parking lot.

This 9.4 mile hike kicked my butt!

Hiked today. Missed the left turn when we went off path to top of San Juan. Added 2 extra miles (oops) If you go counter clockwise, add an extra 2 miles, and carry a 50lb pack, that last hill is a butt kicker!

on Telegraph Canyon Road

liked the trail, very clean

fyi. there is a 5 dollar parking fee cash only.

I really enjoyed this route yesterday morning. First time I tried it clockwise. It’s easier going clockwise because the bulk of elevation gain is stretched out over 4 miles on Telegraph Canyon and Bovinian Delight and you almost don’t notice it.

Nice trail for going long distance. Not much elevation gain. I did this for endurance hiking.

Rattlesnake in the grass on easy street. Narrow trail gets you close to their territory. Nice views. Pretty intense climb for “easy trail”. Enjoyed it.

south side ridge has great view. Lots more to wonder about

It was a nice bike ride really close to home.

The entire east side of Rimcrest Drive (parking facing up hill) is free public parking from Fairmont Blvd all the way up to the trail head entrance. The west side and all of the side streets (the homes), is permit only. Parking is very easy Monday to Thursday, a little busier on Fridays, but can be busy Saturday and Sunday when the weekend warriors are out.

no shade come early avoid sun burn or come late in the afternoon. but good workout w/ good view

No parking, “except by permit” . Closed due to rain?

Very nice and quiet trail with stunning views, you can see different kind of terrains in one trail route, watch for animal excrement.

Good long hike!

This is a great little loop trail that is part of a series of connected trails in the park. I used the Easy Street trailhead (which was pretty busy). Despite the number of cars at the trailhead, I saw few people on my hike. This section of the park seems most popular with mountain bikers, but it is also good for trail running since the “trail” is a well-maintained dirt road.

Trail is pretty easy.

Amazing hike. Even without the lush green hills.

A nice short hike that's great for the beginner. If you're not in shape then the hills can be a challenge but that's part of the fun. Parking can get busy along the street so maybe get there a little before 8am on the weekends and you should be good.

Hiked this with a friend, a lot of dog turd so be careful where you step

Mostly fire roads but the cut through to Telegraph is an single track. Single track is mostly downhill (fast) if traveling north. Lots of gain at the beginning and end but enough downhill in the middle to recover for the hills at the end. Enjoy....

great time some steep dirt trails, great views and easy enough for my 5 yr old

This trail takes right off uphill for a few miles with no a nice steady climb before coming down a single track, Bovinian Delight, a very nice trail that takes you down to 4-Corners where there is a porta-potty and some shaded benches. This rest area is approximately halfway through this run/hike. From there you go mostly slightly downhill until the last turn onto Easy Street, which is .4 miles up to where you started.
Nice quiet uncrowned trails and free parking beginning at 8:00 a.m..

Narrow trail in the beginning but it widens as you work your way into the mountains. Plenty of bikers so be aware. It was quite dry and lacked the lush green I was hoping to see but it was a transcending hike indeed.

We had the best weather fir this hike since there is no shade. Lots of tarantulas but they just walk on by. Make sure to stay to the right for the bikes. There are make bicyclists right now on that trail.

Went East on the South ridge trail from the Rimcrest entrance. Down the Bovinian delight trail to Four Corners and West on Telegraph Canyon back to the Easy Street trail. Up Easy Street and back to the start at Rimcrest. Approx. 7.1 mile loop. Nice route. Not too much traffic.

Nice short hike down to the canyon. Scenery is average. Need to do early morning in the summers. Easy to run this trail as well.

Yellow mustard flowers were awesome although overgrown. The mustard blocked some of the single track in the canyon. The fire road was nice. Great downhill fun and the uphill climbs were not bad.
