Woodside, California Map

Easy trail, no one there at 5pm on Friday. Although there were not many redwoods and the lake is more of a swamp. The trail length on my gps was 1.5 out and back.

Wunderlich is a hidden gem. The trails intersect at various points and it's easy to map out a 2 mile hike or a one that's 10 miles. Most of the trails are shaded, which makes a huge difference on a hot day like today. It was a busy day when we visited, but the trails didn't feel busy, and finding a spot to park on the street was no problem. The trails are well maintained. There are few flat spots, so it can be a bit of a workout. Overall, a great experience.

Beautiful trail - nice redwood groves and meadows. I went counterclockwise and it was a steep climb - I think the climb might be slightly less steep, but a longer climb ,going clockwise.

Obnoxious large groups of horse riders spoil the trail for everyone

Beautiful redwoods! Beware the horse poop.

Short hike, beautiful, quiet and convenient to drive to. Park at the bottom of the park and go upward. I find it easier when I can run down the hill. Met a local once on the trail and she didn't seem happy that too many people were finding about the trail and were leaving trash behind.

Short walk in the woods. No particular highlight but convenient to drive to.
