A nice hike along the river. The trail was well maintained and the greenery and wildflowers was nice to see. The only downfalls: 1) the river bank to the right of the steps was filled with trash :( ; 2) the slight odiferous stench of the wastewater processing plant; and 3) the gnats! The crazy amount of gnats there, made it almost hard to breathe on certain parts of the trail. All in all, it was a good, easy, 4 miles.

The wife and I are officially empty-nesters and a little (a lot) thick around the waist. This trail was our first, probably ever, and it was great! It didn't overwhelm us but we certainly felt a satisfying sense of accomplishment. Recommend bringing a face mask of some type because the gnats are out in abundance and you will breath some in.

Nice walking trail. Not much of a hike. Bring bug spray!

Great out and back. Stairs are awesome for a workout.

Beautiful walk, 3.8 miles out and back. Great with kids and the dogs. The hardest part is the stairs, if you start at that end. You could start at the Waterford River Park, and cut down on the distance and not have to do the stairs, but the stairs are fun. Waterford did a great job installing this path 2 years ago. Great signage along the way to educate you about wild life, trees, etc.
