lots of mud on the trail, a little too much for my skill level so I walked a bit.

it's a good hike for the Ukiah Vally area. lots of poison oak - best to stay on the trail. Dogs have to be on leash.

Fun trail to ride. Not crowded and beautiful scenery. However, from the spillway to the dam (about 1/4 miles) is not suitable for bikes. I had to walk the bike for that which also was not easy to do.

this trail is located in Ukiah CA.

Vichy Springs Resort is privately owned. The trail featured here is on private property belonging to Vichy Springs Resort. The hiking on 700 acres is beautiful and only available with the purchase of day use passes which are $65. per person. After your hike you can enjoy the famous "champagne" naturally carbonated mineral baths which is also included in the day use pass. Massage & facials are also available by appointment. A great way to spend a relaxing day.

Vichy Springs is not only Jack London's favorite hot spot...it's one of mine too. I like it because of the low crowds, serenity, and natural hot springs. Or rather warm springs. Someday I'll get to hike the area. Last I went it was $50 a day pass.

GREAT TRAILS THROUGH OAK AND MANZANITA WOODLANDS AND A VERY BEAUTIFUL WATERFALL 1/2 HOUR FROM THE RESORT ON THE PROPERTY. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS FROM THE TOP BENCHES.
