Nice hike. We got there around 0915 and parking was tight, this was a fall morning. Trail is exposed, so bring a hat and make sure to wear sunscreen. Did the Paradise Falls trail with an added leg bypassing the water treatment plant down the valley. Neat to see a water fall in the LA area this time of year, and the hike along the creek was also pleasant. Lots of families, which is always nice to see. Also passed a couple mountain bikers. Plenty of options to extend your hike, and some great views throughout the hike.

Mostly an easy hike with a few spots where it might be considered modest due to incline. I took my time as I was trying to learn the All Trails App and stopped to take pictures, etc. I did not meet another person during the hour I was there.

This is a moderate trail which can be made more challenging (3 somewhat steep rollers) by returning on the Hillcrest Ridge Trail. Nice views, but completely exposed so don’t do it on a hot day as you won’t find any shade. Most of hike is well cleared, fire road style. We did this end of September so no wildflowers, but probably nice in Spring.

plenty of things to do on the bike. has it all

This trail is ok, but not worth going out of your way for. Very dry and dusty. A few good views but throughout a lot of the trail you can still see neighborhoods. I went around sunset and ran into a large rattlesnake right near the trail! The waterfall was little and serene but very busy with other people. Probably a trail best for families.

The trail was easy to follow. Plenty of directions for how to get to the falls. If you are a local and interested in taking up hiking as a hobby or are just interested in trying it, this would be a great start! It’s an easy hike. My suggestion is to do this early morning - happy hiking!

Short and sweet. Couple of small jumps hidden to the left of the trail head.

The falls are gorgeous! The teepee was an unexpected surprise. Great easy/moderate hike.

Lovely. If you go early most of the trail doesn’t get direct sunlight. Towards the end though the parking lot feels like 1000 miles away even though it says
.52 miles. Lots of rabbits and lizards! We even saw raccoon tracks.

Nice, light hike. Great for after work and for sunsets. Highly trafficked, so ideal for groups.

one of my favorite hikes here in socal

Great hike! Not long, bring the kids!

Perfect hike for introducing your kids to the wilderness been taking my daughter there since she was of walking age . Good times

Calm and beautiful on a Sunday evening!

Fairly easy hike through beautiful terrain. Our dog loved it :)

Awesome views and easy to navigate. Not much shade along trails until you hit the teepee and the waterfall. Arrived around 11 AM on a Monday and did not run into very many people. Bring water and sunscreen! And be sure to pick up after your four legged friends.

Not much shade until you hit the waterfall but overall, it’s a fun hike!

Great trail! Relaxing waterfall and scenery. They hike back up was a bit challenging. :) Bring water and a hat. Very limited shade.

This is an exposed hike with only about 1/4 mile oak covered. Not a great hike for a sunny summer day. In the summer their are some wild flowers, but most vegetation is dried up and dead looking due to lack of rain. There are no views of the ocean from the top.
There were some moronic bike riders on the trail; flying past us doing 15-20 miles an hour.
It's called the Los Padres Trail but you are following signs for the Los Robles Trail most of the time.

Not any shade, didn’t feel particularly easy, but still a great hike with great views.

Great views. Fairly easy terrain if you take the path that overlooks the waterfall back, otherwise it's a decent uphill walk.
