A lot of incline at the beginning, after that it’s a pretty smooth trail. Best to go during late afternoon since there’s hardly shade

My phone tracked this trail as only 2.5 miles. Not as much shade as I was expecting. Pretty good hike but definitely not a moderate 3.3 mile hike as advertised.

Too short for a good ride and crowded.

Overall a pretty nice hike. I think it is definitely easier than a moderate scale hike.

Great trail but busy with people. Parking lot is busy too.

VERY EASY hike, no idea why it’s rated moderate. It’s definitely under 3miles. Ranger was leaving tickets to cars parked on Fryman Rd outside the parking lot, which was full. Truly uneventful.

Overall, nice hike. However, it was a bit crowded and the way down on the loop is all concrete

Really cool views and a not-too-difficult, but enjoyable hike. It ends in residential area that is very nice to walk through.

Beautiful little hike. A very special place for me...

pretty bad ... I don't recommend hiking there .

This is one of the BEST STEEP hiking trails. There are many off trail roads. I would recommend running those trails. It make your heart rate go up, feels like interval training. The hills stop and the pick up again. Wear good hiking shoes there’s though terrain. GOOD LUCK!

At first, there’s really pretty views of the mountains and the trail is maintained, however, the trail let’s out in a residential neighborhood for about a mile. There are plenty of alternatives to avoiding this including backtracking.

Very pretty but very short. If I lived closer I'd do it a lot but since I don't it's not worth a re-do. But certainly worth doing once.

Great local hike for me. A pleasant way to get some exercise in for the day.

It’s a wonderful trail and easy to access. Best to get there early as the parking lot gets full quickly. I love it.
